Stopped for lunch during a family walking tour in Savannah. Serve and food were great, with generous servings at a reasonable prices. Also found some good cocktail choices for my wife and daughter. I'm definitely saving this as a favorite for future trips.
This is our second time here. The first time was 12 years ago we took our mom here and enjoyed this place. We came back here since it was within a few minutes of walking from our hotel. The restaurant has great atmosphere and food. The night we came it was packed so I was able to get two seats at the bar right away. Many beers and whiskey to choose from.
We ordered the soup and salad. The soup was crab stew, and it was delicious. It contained large pieces of crab, and was very rich. The salad I chose was the Greek salad, which was also very good! We also ordered the Classic chicken salad sandwich, which was OK…but nothing great.
Loved the atmosphere of the old building that they are located in. Blue crab soup was excellent. Server was a bit scattered, perhaps at end of a long shift. Rave reviews from plenty of locals the we spoke to. Found the burger onion rings and Greek salad a bit below average. The owner, John showed a lot of class and the he really cares about his business,as he contacted me twice and resolved an issue that I had. If back in town - would try here again.
Great foo! Had fried green tomatoes-excellent. Burger-good, fried pound cake with carmel- amazing. Atmosphere-alive and a nice gift shop where i found all kinds of stuff.
Cool place to grab a drink and a bite to eat. Really friendly staff, delicious food. The crab dip and housemade chips were AWESOME. Unique little shop in the back with some cool things.
