I recommend making a reservation if you prefer a table, however, we sat at the bar immediately (our preference). Bar tenders delivered great service and even better cocktails. All the food was delectable. The star of our dinner was the rainbow trout with the Savannah red rice! Highly recommend ordering it.
Wings truly are the best. Plenty of crunch and a tangy sauce with the right rough of heat. Fried chicken thighs were too good. Pro tip ... swap the Mac and cheese for the fried cabbage. ?
We were so looking forward to dining here. No service issues, service was very good. First course, charcuterie board was a joke. The only cheese was pimento cheese and the only meat was something reminiscent of liverwurst ...extremely unappealing. Main course fried chicken was under cooked and pink, had to be sent back. Turned us off from having dessert and wine, just wanted to get out of there.
We came here for a delicious family dinner on a Tuesday night. Reservations are recommended. Our server was Asia and she was so friendly and did an amazing job. The food was tremendous! We ordered chicken wings which are so delicious, although a tad on the sweet side, and the Caesar salad was good but honestly nothing special. The market fish & Savannah rice was so delicious I couldn’t stop eating! Pecan schnitzel was amazing with cabbage, the burger was pretty good and the fries were so yummy! Would definitely recommend - portions were fairly large as well!
We celebrated our Girls Trip with a fabulous dinner here. The staff was attentive, and we were all very pleased with our food and drink choices. I would highly recommend!
My husband and I picked a few local places we wanted to try during our trip to Savannah, Cotton and Rye was our Tuesday night dinner pick. We made reservations and had no issues getting seated once we showed up. Our server was Olivia and she was awesome from start to finish, making suggestions and recommendations. I had the Treehorn from the beer menu, a hard cider with a dry finish, it was so refreshing! We had the Boudin Balls and Corn and Shrimp Chowder for starters. I was not disappointed with the deep fried meaty Boudin Balls, and had to share with my husband who never had Boudin Balls or even knew what they were. He was hooked! The Corn and Shrimp Chowder looked really good, my husband enjoyed every spoonful of that. For our mains, I had the Fried Chicken Thighs with Mac & Cheese, my husband went with the Roast and an order of buttered potatoes. The chicken was deep fried golden brown crispy juicy goodness. The mac & cheese was good but wasn't quite creamy and cheesy as I'd hoped. Dipping the pieces of chicken into the spicy honey was so good, a side of Ranch dressing and sliced pickles came with the order. My husband enjoyed the tender Roast and buttered potatoes. The whole experience was great from the minute we walked into Cotton and Rye, everyone was friendly and the food was great. Definitely recommend!
We had an awesome experience at Cotton & Rye! Our server Asia was a dream, and was so knowledgeable. She spoke with us and made us feel at home. The food was also very good. I’d recommend the shrimp and grits ?! Most likely the best I’ve ever had!!
An all around good experience. Everyone in our party enjoyed the cocktails, food and desserts. Our server was engaging, friendly and helpful. My trout was well seasoned, well plated and tasty. We would definitely return.
This was fantastic. We made reservations a few days prior to our trip. We arrived a few minutes early and were seated immediately. They sat us in the back where all of the covers were up due to rain in the area. Unfortunately the sun was beating down on me during the first part of our meal so it felt really warm in there. The food was fantastic. My daughter had the burger, which she loved. The sauce was fantastic! I took a recommendation from the waitress (Amelia), the crepinette. It was a delicious take on meatloaf. We really enjoyed the food and everyone who worked there was super friendly.
We had reservations and were seated immediately. Our table was outdoors and the weather was lovely--not too hot, not too cold and no bugs. We ordered the slow roasted beef, fingerling potatoes, baby carrot, pearl onion, brown butter carrot puree, house mustard. The beef melts in your mouth and everything on that plate is delicious--everything! It's a gourmet beef stew. My husband ordered the almond mocha semifreddo for dessert. If you like coffee, chocolate and reaspberry, you will love this. Our waiter was great and the person who brought our food was just lovely. Every single person who worked there said something pleasant to us. I left feeling full and happy. I highly recommend this place!
