We've dined at several restaurants from some of the world's finest chefs; Robuchon, Mina, Andres, Morimoto, Batali, Ramsay, Colicchio, & more; the dishes at Common stack up firmly against all of them. Chef is splendidly creative AND he can cook. We enjoyed Tapenade & Toast, a unique version of a cabrese salad; Buffalo Pimento, which is absolutely delicious; Common Salad, the balsamic is scrumptious, though chefs sweet tooth comes out swinging in the lemon vinaigrette; Short Rib, you absolutely have to try this dish; & Fry Bread Pudding, the most enjoyable version of bread pudding I've eaten in years. There is definitely a king of Savannah cuisine & it's not those tired, old, over rated t.v. chefs you know by name.

Justin the chef and Jenny are waitress we’re exceptional! We took Justin’s recommendations and they were fabulous!

Couldn’t find any thing healthy on the menu. Neither of us liked their food. I had the lamb shank, which was very dry, and the lobster/shrimp tacos were so sweet they should have be under the dessert section. We also ordered a “salad” and there were hardly any leaves or fresh veggies, but instead lots of picked strawberries, cooked sweet potatoes, cooked cauliflower and cheese. Our waiter was nice but did bring the wrong bottle to our table initially. He corrected that but I did ask his opinion between two dishes and he steered me toward the lamb. I definitely wish I had chosen the burger.

Really outstanding. The “Prepared” oysters on the half shell were legendary.

Loooooooove the loaded fries!! Need more kid friendly menu items!! Flexibility with menu preferences would be helpful. Awesome waitress…Carly (I think…). Overall…very good place. Would come back for Lunch/Dinner. Truly nothing “common” about Common. Til next time…from NYC!

What a great evening. Ponzu oysters and pesto seafood Mac!!!! Ask for Jenna

Great food!! Pineapple Situation and Oysters Rockefeller was amazing!! And Syndey our server was so attentive!! Highly recommend!!

While the portions were substantial I wasn't wow-ed by the food itself. Nice varied menu with lots of things I wanted. Waiter was really great and helpful guiding us to some of his favorites one of which was the chicken and waffle dish which I had- it was huge! I put half in a box to take home before starting. It has some nice gravy but not tons of flavor. My husband was "meh" on his gumbo. The place was more casual than I was expecting but had a good vibe. It was on the louder side so keep that in mind Depending on friends you might be getting together with. In my case I hadn't seen her in over a year so we were trying to catch up and it was a little on the loud side I'd say. That said we were the last people to leave the place and they they didn't really hurry us to get out even though we left probably half hour after they officially closed which was nice of them. I'd go back to try some other things

Fabulous food and fabulous service. Creative menu in a very aesthetically pleasing location. Good cocktails too!
