Loved this vibrant place with family... sweet colorful shops. A special mention about the horse cart ride... my granddaughter loved it
City Market is a fun little touristy spot with a wide selection of shops including places such as an exotic meat jerky store, some old time-y candy shops, a prohibition museum, several gift/souvenir shops, and a restaurant or two. Overall, a fun little stroll before or after walking along the river, but mostly just overpriced, inauthentic tourist merch. The candy and jerky shops are really what push up the stars on this review, the rest of the shops were really just a dime a dozen and can be found just about anywhere.
A must visit area of downtown Savannah, boutiques, galleries, bars, Byrds famous cookies, and the Candy shop all encompasses this historic area
Awesome place. Can feel a bit like a tourist trap area but nice to walk around. From what I understand is that you can walk around the area with alcohol but it must be in a plastic cup. The frozen alcoholic drinks there called Wet Willies are great. A nice place to get some gifts and treats.
Lots of shops and restaurants. Good place to find souvenirs, candy, gifts. Nice toy shop.
Best grilled cheese ever! Dipping Three cheese grilled cheese and the habanero dipping sauce so good!

There is also a souvenir shop and there are many souvenir available at affordable rates. This place was very crowded during our visit. A visit we will always remember for people with hospitality.
Cool and fun market with a nice mix of restaurants and bars, boutique shops and local artists and their galleries. We went upstairs where most of the local art galleries are located and had a great conversation with a local artist and watched him work on his current painting. The American Prohibition Museum is located in the market and is definitely worth a visit, especially the guided tour.
