By far one of my favorite takeout Chinese places in Savannah!! Every time I order here the food is always fresh and super tasty. I've ordered quite a bit of different things from their menu and every one of their items that I've tried never disappoints. If I was ever dissatisfied with anything it was because I just didn't like that particular type of dish. Like for example my husband got sweet and sour chicken, loved it but I didn't just because I'm not a fan of sweet and sour chicken. As long as I live in Savannah I will keep coming back to China taste!
Get the Mei Fun. Everything that I've tried here has been good. They are also very fast; I just call ahead and they'll say 15 minutes but it's ready sooner and stays hot and fresh for quite a while.

Smell is awesome...make you order when ya just eaten, as you begin to order the nasty attitude will turn ya off, trust me you wanna stay and order though, the item's are usually VERY seasoned and vegetables are to die for never overbearing of the celery,mushrooms and green peppers lot's of meat and when I say two bite shrimps avaliable, yes my place if only I must not ask for the chicken to cook longer you almost see white on it and it just came outta the fryer, NO GOOD AT ALL, when you have to recook chicken later, good thing you have the other delicious vegetables to enjoy while ya wait on your chicken to be done.
Used to think this place served GOOD Chinese food; so what has happened? New Cook? New owner? Using cheaper ingredients? Just not seasoned as good as used to be. Egg rolls tasted rancid. Also more importantly the public area is filthy! Makes me wonder if the kitchen is clean. What is your health department score? No more for me.
I guess I'm upset because they don't even give you forks. They didn't give me my soda either. When I did get my bottled soda it tasted disgusting so I looked at the date on it its two months paste! I'm angry. Won't be going back
Disgusting, I had the shrimp with lobster sauce over half the shrimp were mushy, which is not fresh my husband's food was way to salty, such a waste of money
Every thing is great! I have lived in the area for 10 yrs and the food has always been consistently fresh, hot, and great! Sesame chicken is my favorite! I have tried most everything. Not disappointed with anything. Be kind to them. They work hard to prepare your food.
Well China Taste in Georgetown. You def have my attention. I ordered, Sweet and Sour Chicken. And it was not what i wanted. So as i was getting a bit rude, turns out, it was Sesame Chicken that i wanted. Feel so damn bad. So i left a good tip and they gave me the extra food. Good people for sure.
I order wings and fries, it was delicious, I will return for another meal.
