Didn't manage to take any photos, but my wife and I ate at the food truck and it was the BUSINESS. Frank was great and made some of the best BBQ we've had in Savannah. I got the pulled pork sandwich and my wife got the smoked wings and let me tell you, the portions are phenomenal. One of the first times I haven't had someone skimp on the meat and slaw on a BBQ sandwich. The baked beans were spectacular as well as the fries. Sauces were great too. 10/10 would recommend again. Much better than some other "BBQ" restaurants we have here.
I ordered a smoke half chicken with double fries and you can see how many fries I've gotten but spending $20.83 for that meal is not worth it.It's to expensive for me for that type of meal.
I caught the foodtruck outside of the apartment complex and I gotta say WOW! Frank is the man! The pulled pork sandwich was PACKED with deliciousness and sides of Mac n cheese and collards. If you haven’t tried BowTie then you’re missing out! This was better than any Texas BBQ I’ve ever tried!
I like the layout of the restaurant but was disappointed in the food and service. I sat at the bar because I have heard about the great whiskey selection.. I was told there was no list as they changed soo often. After looking over the bottles I never was asked if I would like anything, wasnt crazy about the bar service. For my food I asked if they had pulled pork and I was told that would be the pork shoulder.. it came out chopped not pulled and fatty. It is a little pricier that I'm used to for a bbq plate. The bbq sauce which is vinegar based was extremely tomato based and mixing that with ketchup for the fries was too much. Upon checking out I was asked how it was and I somewhat voiced a dislike for it and the sauce and I got a sorry there are other sauces...
I sat at the bar and CeCe was amazing! Made an amazing dirty martini and was great to talk to. Hats off to the kitchen too! I ordered the gates of Mordor and Mac and cheese and wow! It was delicious and I wish I had a bigger stomach! Can’t wait to come back!
More of a sit down restaurant than a BBQ joint. Food was very good though. Sandwiches are served on really buttery bread and I’d highly recommend the poutine if you like blue cheese. Wish they had some sort of sampler platter, the ribs and brisket are riskily costly when you don’t know the quality of BBQ they are serving.
Wandered into this neighborhood, and wanted to try the BBQ. Everything is original recipe, and very yummy! I ordered the Smoked Wings entree. I substituted macaroni and cheese for the Coleslaw, and tried all four sauces. My favorite was the Brown Sugar & Boubon. My husband ordered the BurgerTown, and felt it was one of the best burgers he's had. Everything was super fresh, and we loved the vibe of the restaurant.
My wife and I wound up here when another lunch choice didn't pan out. What a happy accident!! Great food, super friendly and attentive service. We really couldn't have been happier. We'd recommend the Brunswick Stew and Cornbread, especially.
Thought we might have to go back into downtown Savannah for dinner but found this hidden gem in what seemed to be a mostly chain restaurant area. Delicious bbq sauces and southern style sides, great atmosphere, reasonable prices, and friendly staff! They do have a few vegetarian/pescatarian options as well.
The food trucks are originally what brought us here because after trying it we had to have more. The food is prepared beautifully, and the staff is very friendly and patient. The outdoor seating area is a absolutely fantastic place to relax and Eat/Drink. You wont be let down and you will definitely get your money's worth.
