The food was poorly packaged. I ordered the Titanic Tray and a dozen clams. Both orders were placed in a single aluminum pan.Water from the melted ice was spilled in the plastic bag, the clams pan was placed in., so the clams were floating in a plastic bag, full of water. The butter sauce and seasoning from the Titantac Tray was spilled as well. It was a total mess. I feel really bad for the delivery person, whose car was a mess, from the poor packaging. The delivery person was very professional. She showed a great deal of concern. However, I will never order from this restaurant again.
The crabs sold as medium were very small. The shrimp were overcooked and mushy. I spent almost $50 on these two items. Because I was bringing the items back to Atlanta I feel my money was wasted and complaining would be useless.
I don't eat seafood and was there with a friend. Very popular spot. I didn't like the smell of the place and stood outside. There were too many people in that little space to order (no masks were worn). The place itself could use a very DEEP cleaning. I'm sure it hasn't been cleaned or sanitized properly in a very long time.
Horrible experience at this place. We have been customers for years because we enjoyed purchasing the seafood boil they prepare. We called an order in last night and the lady who answered the phone was really rude, nasty, and disrespectful to us. So when we arrived the lady who took our order was so nasty to us, that I told her," This is not customer service and you need to address us with some respect!" We will never order there again and as far as my Wife is concerned we will make our seafood boil at home from now on! Worst experience everPersonally, the community needs to boycott them for at least a couple of months. Staff are running their fingers through their hair and not washing their hands. Just horrible
OMG a must try for seafood lovers. Bring a blanket as it is to go only but so amazing ? ?. We enjoy finding local places to eat and this place is as local as it comes. I'll admit was a little taken by the looks of the place but it was better than anywhere on River Street. An absolute must try
The locals told me about Bobo’s Seafood Market and it did not disappoint. The freshest seafood in all of Savannah can ONLY be found here at Bobo’s Market. Do NOT let the location, small market or limited parking stop you from visiting BoBo’s Market. Get there when the doors open! This is a GRAB and GO STEAMED seafood situation. Walk in, place your order (add garlic butter and hot sauce) , wait 15 minutes for them to steam your food and then head to Forsyth Park for a picnic (be sure to pack some paper towels and bring a cold one). Available in the seafood market are all sorts of fresh fish, shrimp and $9.99 lb snow crab. Get there when they open before they run out. We paid $21 for two orders of the low country boil and it fed 4 adults with leftovers. This food is delicious and the serving size is HUGE! Very impressive!
Hello this is Zoe. I a little gem that I would like to share with anyone who wants to know. Tuesday is the best day to get fresh seafood from bobos. The truck comes in on Monday night and the fresh seafood is available on Tuesdays. What ever you do please don't buy seafood on the weekends. This is when the old seafood is put on the top of the ice and the good seafood is on the bottom. Not fresh seafood on the bottom but good seafood. Hope this helps you all. And yes this also applies to all the seafood spots in Savannah. God bless ?.
Went here when leaving the hospital before ordered a small order of low country boil with garlic butter, it was great. Went back ordered a medium low country boil, four pounds of crab legs, a large garlic butter, a pound of peeled steamed shrimp ( to eat in the car) and 2 garlic crab trays. Spent over $110. Everything except my steamed shrimp and garlic crabs were soaked in hot sauce. We poured it off and ran under water was still uneatable. We drove an hour to get this food so I called. No answer, once I spoke with someone. They blamed me for not getting it on the side when they didn't even ask this go around. Couldn't check it because it was wrapped better than a secret Santa gift. I for one will not return.
I love Bobo Seafood!
Not in the best neighborhood, however they have very reasonable priced seafood. The small low country seafood boil feeds a family of 4 for more than two meals! Definitely worth a visit!
