The food was hot and fresh... However I was very disappointed I ordered the smoked wing dinner and didn't know it will be covered in sauce... I rather dip my sauce if I choose... I had to return to the restaurant to get my order corrected. Otherwise good food
Just made it on time today to try out Babe’s BBQ. I had never been there so I went inside and asked for a to go order. The lovely lady at the cash register said I had to order to go at the window outside.I went back outside to the window and was informed I had just made it and would be their last customer today due to a crazy lunch rush. I was also told they were out of Brisket. I ordered the Rib Plate and Sausage Plate as well as the Jalapeño Poppers, Red Neck Ravioli (Mac and cheese mixed with Brunswick Stew), Baked Beans and Collards.Bottom line one of, if not the best, BBQ Places in the Savannah area. Absolutely delicious! Next time I am trying their sandwiches!
Awesome BBQ spot. Food came out fast and was very good. Really good sauce, really good sides. And the service is top notch, the gals who seat you and wait on you couldn’t be nicer. Nicest waitress I’ve ever had. Excellent all around!
Chicken plate was really juicy and tender but I was upset they covered my stuff in sauce. Please just put it on the side!! The macaroni was delicious and the jalapeno poppers were so satisfying, very spicy and wrapped in bacon. Big, too! The lady who took my order was very sweet! I took off 1 star because of the sauce and had a bit of stickershock when I saw the price of the appetizers. Considering what I go, it's probably worth the price. I just don't know yet.I do recommend it though, and next time I will know to ask for sauce on the side. Was just disappointed because I am not a huge fan of bbq sauce, though it was very good for bbq sauce since it is vinegar-based.I detest very sweet ones.
Excellent southern style barbecue and sides, not to be missed! Friendly and fast service! We loved the ribs and brisket, and plan to come back to try the chicken.

This location is close to my house. I have not been here but wanted to try it for lunch. The lady answering the phone was nice and patient. I made a Togo order and was not disappointed. This will be my new lunch spot.
Babe's is definitely worth the trip. We found on line and although tucked away off the beaten path, the food was great and our server Nina was outstanding. We both had the chopped pork platter and the sauce was super. I also took some peach cobbler to go as I couldn't pass it up and it too was great. Unfortunately we're just passing through, but I could see this as a regular dinner stop.
I ordered the pulled pork sandwich with the potato salad and the pork was hard & dry the potatoes were hard the customer service was inattentive it was around 1/1:30 not too busy and she had a runner so Idk why she was so spacey. The portions and price is not worth it anymore it used to be good. COVID got everyone still struggling.
Always on point here. If you know, you know. If you don't you need to go. Never had a bad meal here. Staff is always friendly and the sweet tea is amazing. BBQ pork, brisket, burgers, sandwiches, salads, fire side, daily specials. The menu has lot of variety and everything is good. Southern home cooking at its finest. Lots of seating but it fills up quickly during lunch. Outside high tops available as well. This place is very good. Highly recommend.
