As a vegan I loved my sandwich. I ordered the VeggieMite with no avocado (just a preference) and it might have been one of my favorite sandwiches ever. I am now realizing though that I am unsure if the honey mustard put on top is vegan though... (it might have mayo?) A little too late now but my order took exactly 15 minutes but I enjoyed waiting inside as the atmosphere was good!
What a great establishment. First time in Savannah and wow what an amazing place. We came here from Baltimore and I will definitely come back. Amazing food and the owners are so welcoming and so sweet. I highly recommend this place for anyone who comes to Savannah.
Came here a couple of times already and will definitely be back to try more of their wonderful selection of deli sandwiches. Nova Scotia was delicious. They have great prices, and it's in a quiet and nice location.
Walking around downtown. Desserts caught our attention. ‘Left with a sandwich (and dessert) and a smile’. Great little place for lunch!
Anita’s is the best. It’s one of the few establishments in town that reminiscent of going to a northern deli. Everything is good, it has a diverse menu, my order comes out in a timely manner. Its such a nice breath to go into an establishment that isn’t selling you a brand, but legitimately good comfort food.
We were looking for a place to grab a quick sandwich for lunch and found Anita‘s Deli Sandwich. We’re from South Florida, so we’ve had some good deli food, but Anita’s is the best ever. You have to try it!
My husband and I stopped here for a bite for lunch just on a whim and so glad we did! It’s a local place that makes everyone feel like a local when they walk in. The food was made to order and was absolutely delicious! You can tell that they care about their product and made as much of it homemade as possible. We’ve added it as a needed stop for whenever we go to Savannah here on out.
The sandwiches were good, but the prices were not the same as they are on the website. It was double from what the website has posted. It took 45 minutes to get a sandwich and soup, while other orders were pushed in front of our group’s order. I suggest calling ahead to order, and the owner should look into purchasing a larger grill for heating the sandwiches.
May not be a low cost place but it is worth every penny ten times The team (mostly the owner and family) is outrageous and the food … I haven’t find words or an expression that would describe this huge selection of mouth watering and super fresh delight for the tastebuds - A DREAM! ((still an understatement)) We had a hard time to choose between the wrap, sandwich, sub, soup or salad and didn’t regret for a second the choice of soup and sandwich we too and which was so great. Lovely designed cozy arrangement with a nice open sales and preparation area and a few tables for dine in. Who didn’t try will miss a chance of lifetime for a outstanding meal.
Best deli in Savannah hands down! Anita & Robert are the most friendly & awesome people.
