Although located in an alleyway, there are bright lights and it feels safe. The bar is located downstairs and has a very hip vibe. We went on a Tuesday night and it was pretty busy, the service was slow but the server was extremely friendly. The cocktail menu is lengthy and it is on an “alley cat” newspaper - it was very cool. Cocktails were absolutely delicious and the servers/bartenders will help you choose something you like as they are quite knowledgeable. I would definitely come back!
Do you like cocktails? Go to Alley Cat. Very hip basement speakeasy, entrance in an alley, of course. We had to wait a few minutes to get in, they maintain a very reasonable occupancy. Went back to back nights while in Savannah, every cocktail we had was beautifully prepared and delicious. The menu is creative, to say the least. We sat at the bar the first night, it is like watching a show behind the bar, and your bartenders are the stars. Don't even look at the menu, tell them what you like and be surprised.
Definitely worth the visit! I loved that the bartenders were knowledgeable enough to craft something personalized. Service took quite some time (I think they would benefit from having an additional bartender). We went on a Tuesday and we still waited a long time for our drinks.I love that the menu is on a newspaper and the atmosphere was awesome. If you go, ask for the Antidote cocktail. The drink was absolutely delicious and perfectly spicy as they make their own ginger syrup. Will definitely return when I am back in Savannah.
Literally a must stop for amazing cocktails in Savannah. Sad I only had two drinks while here on vacation. Will recommend this place to everyone and will be back when ever I make it to savannah again.
This place was incredible. The cocktails, the service, and the ambiance… all A+++Alley Cat Lounge will forever be a “must visit” when in Savannah.
This place was absolutely amazing! They didn’t bat an eye when I asked to have a mocktail and the bartender made up two incredible drinks for me. I appreciated that our server double checked the drinks to be sure they were alcohol free. My husband had a couple of regular cocktails that he truly enjoyed as well. I can’t recommend this place enough!
Great cocktails and imaginative preparations. Underground feel but still inviting. Eclectic but relatable playlist. Go.
Here’s the thing! This place is a MUST see. Not even kidding- the bartender JASON is a real gem! He is a true artist and if you get lucky sitting by the bar you will get real performance!! Highly recommended !! Jason!! You are the best! Thank you for my B52
Creative cocktails. Honestly, it was good. Definitely a younger crowd, but early on a Saturday evening it wasn't too crowded and it made all the difference. The music wasn't blaring, but was well selected. The "improved whiskey" was my favorite of the night and was delicious. The ambiance and quotes throughout the newspaper-like menu were just marvelous touches.
