One of the things I judge a place in is the diversity of the people eating there. Today was first visit and it was young, old Black and white and that's just what I saw. That always let's me know the food and the service are A1. Guess what? Al Salaam did not disappoint. I'm considering, no I am going back tomorrow.

Absolutely the best. Tasty kebabs and other items. Family ran. Small place but cute a my d cozy. You feel like you are in the Middle East. Pride in the place is evident. I am going to cater a move release this Tuesday and this place has my business.

GREAT!! Best middle eastern food I have had in a long time. Big take-out business and small group tables in mid eastern style. A variety of middle eastern folks enjoying a taste of “home” and locals who know a meal prepared with pride and tradition. If you are looking for wonderful food, you won’t be disappointed.

Love this place. Delicious lamb gyro and hospitable people. Will go again!

The food was amazing!! I ordered a lamb gyro and fries and I will definitely be back. Also they serve ketchup that is non high fructose corn syrup and that definitely put a stamp on everything which made me very happy. The little things count for me!!

This is a local jewel in Savannah. It's a cozy little spot in the city and I saw a steady stream of customers coming and going the short time I was there. I am vegan and ordered a falafel wrap combo with the fries and drink to go. I had asked if the falafel was vegan and they said yes. Initially they asked if I wanted hummus in it and I said yes. Well I got a couple blocks away, took a bite and there was a dairy sauce in it instead of the hummus. I called them right away and they assured me they would make it right which they did. It was ready for me when I went back in. Absolutely delicious wrap and the fries were the krinkle kind salted just right. You gotta go! ?

We stopped here on our way to Florida after reading some great reviews. Food is undoubtedly great. Juicy sandwiches however there’s one thing that really bothers me about some restaurants and that is poor customer service. If you are going to be rude to a customer and have a sour attitude for whatever reason then please don’t run a business. The people working there looked miserable and look like they desperately need a break; it shows through how they treat people who walks through that door. Just FYI I also got my entire order wrong. Before I could explain to her what I wanted the lady abruptly cut me off and told me she knows what I ordered - clearly she didn’t. I just paid and left. Obviously never coming back

Ordered 2 chicken gyros and unfortunately was served lamb. I did have to repeat my order multiple times. Nonetheless, great food served here if your order is correct.

Food is great. Their special sauce is worth the hype. Chicken is moist and love the salad.

Busy small mediterranean grill, with many coming and going. Not a place you'd dine-in; but a place for carryout orders.
