This place was amazing! Christina was one of the owners/bartenders and she was so amazing to talk with. I loved Hearing how they started and renovated the building plus her knowledge of wine was great. The wines they had were incredible and I loved the whole experience It was an amazing experience and I hope to be back asap! I highly recommend this place to anyone who loves wine
Fantastic spot for a wine lover to have a moment of pause. Excellent, diverse wine selection served in a charmingly decorated space, with a super nice staff! This shop would be a treasure anywhere, but especially in Savannah. Can’t forget to mention the excellent views of the river! We enjoyed our afternoon sit immensely. A new favorite, to be sure!
Words cannot express how much my husband and I enjoyed this wine bar! We stopped in thinking we would just grab a glass of wine and ended up not only drinking DELICIOUS wine but also having our favorite experience of our whole trip! We met one of the owners who is so passionate about this place! Her passion truly shines in every detail of this beautiful wine bar! We also met so many amazing people. It felt like we were instant friends with everyone in there! It made us wish we lived here so we could stop in every night! We will be back here every single time we're in town!! ❤️
While visiting Savanna, GA we came across this lovely wine bar. You have to stop in and relax to have a glass of wine and bonus is the small food menu which is just right! We were killing time before our dinner reservation and this served to be the perfect stop for a nosh before dinner with a great wine. Christina is a wonderful host and you need to read “the story” in the menu as to how 208 evolved. And hats off to Kristy Crill, owner of The Dive Savannah whose community service and outreach is to be commended. She provides the food which is also excellent. So community service + great wine + great food = a 5 star review and a MUST stop location! Way to go 208! Here’s to an awesome 2022 season for you!
Hidden Gem! We were on our honeymoon in November 2021 and found this amazing Wine Bar which over looks the Savannah river. We had the privilege to meet one of the owners, James, who shared with us the incredible stories of the beautiful decor and wine. We did the dark and light flights on our first visit and since we enjoyed ourselves so much, we went back on Thanksgiving Day and enjoyed a couple glasses before dinner.
My first time visiting, and an absolutely great experience. The vast menu has a great variety of: Red, White, and Sparkling wines.The atmosphere was quaint, and lovely. Perfect for a date night, or night out with friends.James was friendly to interact with during my visit, and the sparkling wine I chose was incredible!Can't wait to return!
Wendy and I enjoyed our experience at 208 Wine Bar. Great wines, great location overlooking the river, and excellent service. We came for a quick drink and ended up staying the whole afternoon. Christina was a great host. We look forward to visiting again.

During a recent visit to Savannah, my wife and I were staying at a hotel just a few doors down on East Bay Street and we decided to give this place a try. We were so glad we did! Located in a beautiful historic building near the Savannah River, this place is a true gem. They have an outstanding selection of eclectic wines from around the world. We decided to try the flights. I had the Tour de France flight which was superb. My wife had the world flight which included a wine from India - she is a bit of a wine connoisseur and she said the flight was excellent. James guided us through our wine choices with great care. This place is a little oasis of chill in an otherwise bustling riverfront area. We loved it and will definitely come back here again when we visit Savannah in the future. Highly recommended!
We saw the reviews and photos online and decided to try it out on our last night in town. It did not disappoint! We were welcomed by the owner Christina and given recommendations on what types of wines to try. We had very fun conversations with her and the other patrons and thoroughly enjoyed our time and the wine! We’ll definitely be back next time and highly recommend!
