Love me some Tupelo Honey! We had a 1pm reservation (thank goodness) on Sunday and it was packed. We started with Fried Green Tomatoes, Fried Pickles and THE BISCUITS (to die for!) Our entrees included Asheville Hot Fried Chicken & Waffles (buttermilk or mac-n-cheese) and the All I 'Avo' Wanted (two medium poached eggs**, smashed avocado, paprika, feta cheese, hollandaise). Our waitress was attentive even though they were short staffed. Good stuff for sure!

Cute atmosphere with plenty of opportunities for freebies and discounts on your meal. The ingredients seem fairly high quality and well prepared.Definitely recommend the Tupelo Shrimp and Grits and the Fried Green Tomatoes, some of the better versions of those dishes I've had anywhere. The Creole Shrimp Linguine, while decent and filling, was a bit bland so not really worth ordering compared to the shrimp and grits.

Had the best girls lunch here. Beautiful inside with lots of seating. Bright interior with nice wall decorations. The food was excellent! We have the shishito peppers and friend green tomatoes. Both were excellent! I love the peppers!! The fried green tomatoes came with grits and a tomato sauce that was excellent.I had the blueberry lemonade mimosa. Great brunch/lunch drinks!I also had the Sriracha honey chicken and waffles...they were delicious! Great portion. Lots of flavor. Crispy chicken. The server and host were both excellent!

*New Bites Notification* Spring is here! Time for patios, breezy weather and fresh bites! I tried the NEW Spring menu at Tupelo Honey Cafe - a Southern, scratch-made restaurant serving brunch, lunch and supper. Is it just me but lately I've been feeling a more savory brunch and Tupelo Honey Cafe definitely has THE FOOD. My top favorites were the brussel sprouts (super good and juicy) and the fried chicken (some of the freshest chicken you will ever try). Shown: Brunch Mains: Southwest Scramble - crumbled chorizo, cheddar cheese, avocado mash, lime crema, fresh fresno chiles, chives, green tomato salsa SNACK: Crispy Brussels - with garlic buttermilk ranch dipping sauce Tupelo Honey Cafe 's Famous Bone-In Fried Chicken - Original Honey Dusted (Dark) - Brined for over 18 hours then cooked to perfection and served with Butter & Basil Green Beans Hint of Lavender Lemonade - tart lemonade with a hint of lavender SNACK: Biscuits for a Cause - Two cathead buttermilk biscuits with blueberry jam and whipped butter Parmesan & Rosemary Potato Cracklins Heirloom Grits w/ Goat Cheese Follow @ServingLooksATL all over the city

Service was great! Chicken was awesome! The pork was good and the cocktails were perfect. Loved the homemade biscuits! I gave it 4 stars b/c the Mac n cheese was a little dry and although the grits were very good, they were not the right temperature when served. They should have been much hotter. In all, I would definitely return. Great ambiance and southern hospitality.

The food was ok. Service was kinda lacking. At one point we had dirty plates from our appetizers for so long we were about to clean our own table. Our server served us twice from across the wall. This is our 3 time here and food was good but service has to improve.

Good food (Mac n cheese waffle &hot chicken), great environment. However, it’s still unbelievable that we wait for 45 mins to get the order, while my coffee has gotten cold. The waitress also serves as the bartender took some extra time. I understand the effect of labor shortage, but it shouldn’t undertake by customers. Raise the minimum wage to attract more laborers, please!

I love the food here! Here's a list of things you can't go wrong ordering: bourbon glazed chorizo meatloaf, honey Sriracha chicken breast (I get this as a side order), goat cheese grits, crispy brussel sprouts (as an appetizer or side), collards, biscuits with blueberry compote, and last but not least banana pudding! Hope you enjoy these as much as I did!

Service is sweet, but this location needs some help in the kitchen and I think they may be struggling because of COVID stress. Supplies are low (supply chain issues they said) and morale in the kitchen was low and it showed in the food. I hope to visit again one day and see they are doing lots better.

A Brunch Date with The Husband at Tupelo's was definitely a great spot to try. The day we went The restaurant was very short staffed so the wait time was a little longer than normal, but the food was absolutely worth the wait! My husband got the Mac N Cheese Chicken&Waffles and I got the Sriracha Honey Chicken&Waffles. We also enjoyed the " Pink is the new mimosa" If you're ever in the Sandy Springs area for brunch or want to try something new definitely stop by.
