The Sandy Springs location is close to me, unfortunatly the last few time I have been have not been a good experience. I have seen the early closing on Sunday as well as the sorry I had an emergency and the store is closed sign too, but today I when I came to get carry out 30 min before closing the chairs were up and the staff acted like I was putting them out for coming in. Apparently the online systems were not working and the food the was out at the bar looked like it had been out all day. I'm just very disappointed as I used to have good experiences here a few months ago and in the last month, not as much.
Says they close at 9pm. Came at 8:40 and they were already closed. Change your hours and stop wasting people’s gas and time. My husband just went there again and it now has. Sign on the door that says be back in 30 minutes.
I usually always eat here, and it’s pretty great. This time, though, at the time of writing this, I got some bad food poisoning from here. I’ve been dealing with stomach cramps for the past week because of this place, and I’d strongly consider the risks going here, especially if you’re going to try their raw fish.
Won’t be back, the rice was hard and the people that put the food together just slopped everything in the bowl. I would think for 11$ my rice wouldn’t be hard nor would my food be slopped in the bowl. I just don’t understand how the rice is hard, and it’s cooked in a rice cooker. Like literally all the rice was hard. Then on top of that it wasn’t clean inside, and it had a stink smell. Should’ve walked out, but since I was so close to the house I didn’t feel like driving any further.
I recently went here on a weekend and the time on door stated they were going to be opened till 8. When I arrived an hour before closing they had already locked the door. I hope it was a good reason for closing an hour early after driving 45 minutes to get there.
I absolutely loved my food! The servers were friendly and helpful- I would definitely recommend the teriyaki chicken to all newcomers. Great experience!! I would give it a 6/5 if I could haha
*DoorDash order*I got the Thai Tea bubble tea with strawberry popping boba and Sunset House bowl.Everything was absolutely excellent! It was a lot of food, and the quality was good. I don’t have much more to say other than I was very pleased!
My server gave me good portions, but I think it’s hit or miss on who you get. Lots of good toppings and delicious fish. They mix your toppings with your sauce, which I enjoy. Good variety of sauce too (your basic poke sauces) There is space to sit inside.
So yummy! All you would want in a poke bar. Since this was the first time I came I asked for suggestions and the attendant was right on point with what is good. The set up is similar to Chipotle where you can request the protein and the veggies.
Food is good quality. There are not many options for toppings though. The boba tea was very disappointing. The bobas were all stuck together so you could not get them through the straw to drink with the tea
