I went here because our favorite sushi bar is no longer serving lunch. The food was good and service was efficient although the restaurant was understaffed. I understand this but There needs to be more training for servers so they are familiar with the menu . They were doing three different jobs at the same time..
They did not let us dine after making a reservation. Stated they are closed??
Service was not good. Sushi chef was good. Overall did like the taste or texture of the fish. Would not recommend.
An incredible Sushi restaurant. We have dined here twice this week, and were very impressed. We will be adding this restaurant to our regular rotation. The service was great, too.
I believe the quality of the fish at this restaurant is very good. Other items are also very good. No complaints.
How disappointing was our experience at One Sushi… I’m expecting, and I hoped for some “cooked” sushi options. Most places accommodate and have an already set number of rolls, similar to here. Here’s where & why I believe they failed…First image:Lunch special - $18 (seems reasonable)First Roll - Crab Crunch Roll - imitation crab, rice, seaweed, STUFFED with tempura flakes. No avocado, no cucumber, no cream cheese or anything. Topped with eel sauce…Second Roll - Shrimp Tempura Roll - rice, seaweed, STUFFED, again, with tempura flakes and topped with Shrimp.REALLY? I’m paying $18 for rice, seaweed, tempura flakes, imitation crab and maybe one or two shrimps if that (your cost…~$3). I get the cost of business, margins, overhead, etc. but what a way to rip your customers off.Second ImageMy husband also got the lunch special for $18 and got the Spicy Tuna roll and Salmon roll. For what he got, the price is reasonable.Food quality - 2 out 5Service - 3 out 5Location - 4 out 5Don’t recommend this place and will certainly won’t be back… make the trip to somewhere else.
Visiting from out of town and found the gem. The sushi place down the road was not a place I would eat and was reported by my friends as smelling terrible (like sewage) and kept searching until they found One Sushi! Excellent service, delicious food, and clean and very nice environment. Would I come back? Yes! In fact we ate here 2 nights in a row.
Nothing special. Food was good and fresh but service lacked. The atmosphere was social.
Made a 730 reservation on a Friday to be safe. Turns out it wasn't necessary this night. Patio area filled quickly as we were there. Had a very nice server who might have also been bartending and seemed to be taking most of the tables. He was super quick and efficient. Food came out fast. We ordered a shrimp tempura roll. Loved it so much that we ordered a second. The second one didn't look like the first one at all. Plated differentlt, without the tails, and the overall taste wasn't as good. Spicy tuna was actually spicy, which is nice. Lychee martini was fun but the one whiskey based drink reads like a fun sour but tastes like a mule. This place probably has a great lunch crowd due to the location and does lots of takeout. Might not necessarily be a good, quick sushi spot. They only have 3 basic rolls and everything else has some kind of spice element.
This awesome restaurant is nothing short of amazing! My boyfriend and I decided to eat here yesterday for lunch. We order the lychee- tini, Mojave drink, stuffed peppers, shrimp tempura roll, shrimp fried rice and Georgia roll. Our server Willy was more than pleasant. This is now one of our fave spots in Atlanta. Thank you for the great experience. Food and service was impeccable.
