The chicken really is solid but the staff here, and especially Q (I think that's his name), really makes this place something amazing!!This is one of the rare circumstances that I wish I could give even more than 5 stars
I’m not sure who the young lady is but she has EXCELLENT people skills and EXCELLENT customer service skills! Now as far as the cooks are concerned, the food is great however presentation is key. Flip flop shoes in an open kitchen is a no go. I think it’s also time to do some renovations on the outside and inside. Get rid of the old table clothes, wooden furniture and become more innovative! The food is great and the ambiance should match it. Will be back again!
A friend introduced me to this place and I’ve been bringing others here for their 1st experience every since.The staff are always friendly and welcoming! The food has never let me down. Chicken is breaded to perfection and seasoned very well, plus it’s fresh and hot. Sweet tea is just like a true southerner would expect. The greens could be a little better, but that’s my personal opinion. The only item I haven’t sampled would be their dessert menu, maybe I’ll try that next time.Parking can be a hassle if you visit during lunch, as this location is very busy (as expected for good food and service) so keep that in mind.
I’ve had fried chicken at other “best” fried chicken in town but to me this was the best. The breading is very light and flavourful. Even the breast is incredibly juicy. The fried okra and French fries were delicious. The mac n cheese was alright. I wish the chicken was bit warmer as they were getting colder. But still I wouldn’t definitely recommend this place as the best chicken in town. Also it’s halal for people who prefer.

The chicken is really good but the service is terrible. The last couple times I have been there were bad. Long waits, uninterested staff, poor food handling. The last straw was when I waited an additional 30 minutes for a Togo order that should have been ready when I arrived. I saw them bag the fries for my order long before the chicken was done. The fries were cold and when I asked for fresh fries, I was told that I would have to wait another 10 minutes (long enough for my chicken to get cold). The manager did comp my meal that last time but instances like this have happened before. I just don’t think the chicken is worth the headache.
I never write reviews but thought it was important that I share this one b/c the quality of service and food has dramatically suffered. I have been to this location 10 to 15 times over the years. First visit was great. Food was hot, and seasoned throughout. From there it has dramatically declined. 1. they say they drop the food hot but never do. I have gone several times and left only to have semi warm chicken. This really dries it out over time. 2. The customer service is horrible. sagging pants seeing underwear, inappropriate language. 3. because of issue with number 1, I decided to give one more try today.(3/29/22) I called in order and specifically requested for them to drop the chicken fresh. The lady without a question agreed and told me it would take 20 min. I get there 4 min later and my food is sitting on a shelf, in small bags so the food didn't go all the way in the bag and the meat was not hot nor warm. The bread had started to form a crust on it b/c it was obviously left to the open air. ONce again cold chicken. When you are paying a premium for the chicken with an advertised "drop to order", its just get 2 stars when the food comes out cold and customer requests are not made. The flavor of the chicken is great but who wants poor quality. This was my first visit in several months after a continuous string of bad visits. This has solidified for me. I will be going to other establishments from here on out.
Second time at this location. It’s worth the hour plus minutes drive for us. On top of the incredible chicken and sides, the staff is some of the best we’ve ever had. Highly recommend the Sandy Springs location to anyone looking to give THE BEST fried chicken place a try. The chicken was VERY good and slightly spicy, sides were good too. Waitress prompted us to tip more because she only makes $2/hr????that was a first and only reason for the 4 stars instead of 5
That southern hospitality is on point . Very good just don't come at last minute. Sweet potato pie is not good but I didn't come for that. If you love chicken like I then stop here. Fresh hot chicken never sits in warmer that's so gooooooood
