The main things I look for when we visit local eateries are the 3 C's:Customer Service, Cost, and Consistency in products. Then the 3 T's:Taste, Temperature, and Texture. As a business owner I know what it takes to deliver these key things, but with having a large staff I'm sure it can be a challenge. Saying all that to say, I've been back twice back-to-back 2 days in a row. Truley digging this spot... Big shout out to staff member "Amanda". She was amazing help with helping me order with it being my first time there. She was polite and patient and made recommendations that were spot on.Great job to owners, management and cooks.
This place is just plain awesome! Pricing is not too bad and the food is incredible. I had a couple of ribs and a side of Brunswick stew, and both were wonderful. Full of flavor and not too spicy. They have their own sauce in several different versions. I heard, but have not tried, the banana pudding is out of this world too!
First time at this establishment. You don't smell BBQ from outside the pit because it is oven baked. Customer service was great, extremely friendly and well polished staff. Ribs, Mac & Cheese and Potato Salad was delicious, cooked fresh to order and the sweet tea was brewed . All the specialty BBQ sauces were great. The brisket was too dry and over cooked for my liking, and just my personal preference.
We stopped in to try somethings for a possible event we are having catered.We ordered the brisket, pulled chicken, green beans, Mac, hush puppies, and a chipotle sandwich.We got one of each sauce to try. The mustard sauce was my favorite.The food was pretty ok. The hush puppies are dropped when you order them and we're actually my favorite thing. The sandwich was also really good.I'm picky about Mac so I give that a 3/5. Was very creamy, but needed some seasoning.I didn't care for the green beans.Meat was solid.
Delish BBQ but inconsistent quality. Some days it's perfect, others not so much.
Nice bbq spot w tasty food. Ordering was quick and easy from the counter. Friendly server took our order. Short wait until they call your name to get your order. I thought the meat was cooked well - flavorful and not dry. Sides were good as well. Busy, but not over-crowded. A good spot if you're in the area, looking for bbq.
I love this restaurant. I wish they offered more individual meals besides just the sandwiches. The 3-cheese mac and hush puppies are absolutely DELICIOUS ?. You gott try those sides or else you're missing out. The service has always been good at City Barbecue.
Love the menu and flavors. Please use less SALT! had a delicious smoke turkey breast for Christmas dinner, but it (and the sides) were so salty, some guests wouldn't eat it. Please cut back on the salt and we will be loyal customers.
Probably the worst barbecue I’ve ever had. Brisket was cold and tasteless the baked beans inedible. Asked for Diet Coke to find out afterward that they only serve Pepsi products. Absolutely atrocious & not clean . SLOP
This was some of the best barbecue I’ve had since I’ve been in Georgia everything was so tasty from the macaroni and cheese to the ribs. The customer service was even better they were really accommodating and left me with Peach cobbler at the end. I definitely recommend you have the experience!!!!
