Fantastic experience! Atmosphere, service, selection were all superior. We did not have reservations but arrived early enough in the evening to be immediately seated (on a Saturday evening). We had constant attention (not overbearing) and drinks, appetizers and entrees were delivered quickly and efficiently. Sashimi was sooooo fresh and beautifully presented. Specialty rolls were inventive but not too elaborate or fussy. The colorful tableware and unique serving pottery pieces were a very nice touch. The complimentary dessert was a fantastic finish to a delicious meal. We were on our way from Northeast Georgia to Cobb, but we'll make the hour drive in the future just to dine here!
I liked 2 of the rolls I had at Bishoku, but one was just okay. The ones we liked were Heavenly ($15.95) and Jackie’s ($15.95). The one I could’ve done without was the Husney ($20.95). The sauce that came with it was interesting.I think there is better sushi in the area.
We’ve been dining at Bishoku for years. The service is exceptional and their sushi is the best in Atlanta. We love the intimate feel and ambiance and in addition to the delicious, authentic food their bar is awesome. We always ask for recommendations. Go and enjoy!
Jackie , the owner, has the recipe for success: outstanding food, service, ambiance (music, lighting, chairs and even the wine and cocktail glasses - no detail has been left behind). HIGHLY recommend (and I never do reviews).
My bf loves this place because of the food and polite little waitress. He made reservations for us on Valentine's Day. We were seated immediately, the sushi was great and the service was kind.
We are from Ohio, visiting in Atlanta for a couple days. I wanted sushi, and we found Bishoku while driving around near our hotel. Although we didn't have a reservation (6 pm on a Saturday night), they were able to seat us. Sushi; excellent. Shrimp tempura; excellent. My husband enjoyed the spicy crab stuff he had. One thing I will note is that the prices listed on TripAdvisor are out of date, a number of the menu items have have risen in cost, since these were published here. Our waitress brought us a small piece of cake (complimentary) for dessert. Service was prompt, and the wait staff were all looking out for us. I wish we had a great place like this in our area. Thank you! T & J.
Great quality sushi at a fair price. We have never been disappointed by a meal here. The chefs know what they’re doing and the fish is always fresh and high quality. Mix in a few other menu options too! You won’t be disappointed!
This is THE BEST sushi restaurant in all of the greater Atlanta area. My husband and I have tried sushi at so many places, but keep on coming back to Bishoku. So fresh, creative, and delicious. Service is impeccable- everyone is so friendly. And the atmosphere is lovely. Highly recommend.
Decided to come here with some coworkers last-minute tonight. They definitely could have turned us away but squeezed us in before a reservation and let us know we had about 1.5 hours to sit and eat. The service was quick and the food was SO good. The skinny cucumber roll and the rice cakes were fire. House sake was good. Definitely will be back here.
Excellent quality food. The sushi was excellent and as good if not better than equivalent Japanese cuisine I've enjoyed in Tokyo. Looking forward to dining at Bishoku again in the future. Honorable mentions to the Grilled Geso, Hamachi Nigiri, and Natto Maki all of which were some of the best I've had. The sushi was well prepared, the correct temperature, and melted on the palate. The Geso was grilled to perfection and was soft with a light charcoal taste which gave it amazing flavor. The natto maki was light and smooth with a subtle but revealing taste. Excellent food. Still thinking about it. The green tea ice cream for dessert was a great finale to a wonderful dining experience!
