We were able to try Vas Kouzina after numerous friends recommended the place - And those turned out to be solid referrals! We started out with Dolmades and Melitsanosalata (Eggplant spread) which was much like baba ganoush, but light and lemony served with four toasty pita points. The Dolmades were as good as they get. They were also lemony, and a larger size, filled a tasty rice filling. We ordered two dry Martini's up and they were spot-on! For the entree we chose the whole fish option which was Branzino, a fish that works well whole. It was charred, well spiced but still the flavor of the seafood came through. Table service was elegant and Continental with Fermin guiding us cheerfully along and then filleting the fish table side, honoring my request to not serve the head on. I am squeamish about that. The fish was really good! The tasty cheek meat was served in a ramekin, nice touch! Sides were Spanaki (Salad) and Grilled Vegetables. the salad was exactly as described: spinach, beets, goat cheese, walnuts, balsamic vinaigrette, and a fig balsamic drizzle. The veggies had a char-broil flavor and were both plentiful and well cooked. We were offered a delicious Greek Port wine with our awesome dessert. We chose: Chocolate Kormos Metaxa which had Walnuts, Caramelized Oranges and Dark Chocolate with Cookies Soaked in Metaxa Brandy and Orange Liqueur. It was absolutely wonderful, just enough for two and really not that sweet. I would recommend Vas Kouzina even if you are not a big seafood person because their traditional Greek fare, like Moussaka and gyro's, looked fabulous. Definitely on the rotation!!!

We had a great experience at Vas Kouzina. The waiter was funny and very knowledgeable about the menu. We started with excellent cocktails. Then had a trio of hummus, tzatziki and eggplant dips, with pita and veggies. All were excellent. We shared the whole sea bass, which was light and flaky, great flavors. They offered to filet the fish table side or in the kitchen. We had a side of roasted/grilled veggies, eggplant, squash, peppers and onions, with a balsamic drizzle on top-delicious. The Nutella covered hot donuts were great, as were the cherries and yogurt. I would highly recommend Vas Kouzina. I plan on going back soon.

Everything about our experience at Vas Kouzina - Roswell was fantastic. The place is pretty small, but once seated, I never once felt cramped or crowded. The cocktails and appetizers were amazing, especially the flaming cheese. For our entrees, there was something for everyone on the menu, even for an extremely picky 16 year old. I am looking forward to our next visit, even if it's just for drinks and apps! One word of warning for those that sit in the main dining room during the summer: it is VERY cold in there. They had the AC on full blast, which is fine given the alternative. But, I know my wife and daughter wished they had brought a light sweater or something with them.
