In summary it was not a great experience, but wait staff was great regardless and the restaurant is nice. Was there on Sunday for brunch for a family birthday. Ambience was good and seating was prompt and comfortable. Our server, Jacob, was very pleasant and came to speak with us shortly after we were seated. We ordered within ~10 minutes of being seated but didn’t get any of our food until 75 minutes of being there. Usually this would have been enough for us to leave but it was a birthday meal and we wanted to stay positive. I had my two toddler kids with me as well so leaving would have caused other issues. Jacob stayed friendly and we appreciated that but waiting this long for food (inc. simple apps) was not great. I would have to think twice before coming back to be honest, at least for brunch. The apps we had ordered were the popovers which we were excited about but when they finally came out they felt like they had been sitting under the heat lamps for a while - so they were tough and dense and not great!

Our waiter, Wilson, was amazing! The food was great and the atmosphere was nice.

The food was mediocre, tasteless on one item and overly spicy on another…and overpriced.

The quality of the food was incredibly below par. Two of the four parties found the food in a an edible. The other meals were completely overcooked.

Bacon was incredible. Steak sandwich overcooked and dry.

Dinner was superb service excellent

We sat outside to begin but ended up moving inside to the bar as the server never greeted us. It was pretty blatant but we didn’t bother with complaining. Restaurants aren’t what they used to be.

First time visiting Uncle Jacks. Got a good table outside. The waiter was very good and attentive. The food was okay. My mother got the omelette oscar and she was kind of disappointed, It was very bland, had very little seafood in it and the asparagus was pretty much raw, barely blanched. My sandwich and my wife's sandwich was good . I think the menu is way over priced. $62.00 plus tip for 2 sandwich's and an omlette and no drinks is very steep. Should have looked at the menu on line before going. My bad......My biggest concern though was the tin plate my sandwich was on. I wiped a napkin on it and it was rusty! Need to throw them away before the board of health catches you. I didn't say anything to the waiter because it was a special treat for mom and I didn't want to ruin it for her. Probably would not go back.

First time dining at Uncle Jack's, and loved it. Except for some unruly children at an adjacent table, the rest was outstanding. Service was great (Kate was a great server), food was fresh and delicious. We'll be back

Our great experience started with our server, he was so nice, well informed about the menu, and just the right amount of attentive. We loved the ambiance, and the food was sooooo goooood!!! It was our first time and we are definitely returning. In fact I’ve already made reservations for a couple of weeks from now.
