This company couldn’t be more incompetent. The latest way they are screwing their customers. Paper cups. Who puts smoothies in a paper cup. They don’t last long at all. And worse, the cups are smaller than the usual cups. Tropical Smoothie charges a premium for their drinks. But they give you a dollar store product and service. Easily the worst food franchise around.
Today I had a first! My son and I went in for a late afternoon lunch because we wanted something healthy. The manager took our order and when I started to pay he said it was on the house he was paying it forward! I just wanted to say thank you again! Such a nice surprise.
I have no idea what has happened to this place in the last few months, but it's a 45-60 minute wait for sandwiches and smoothies- mobile order placed 20-30 minutes in advance of arriv, and then you stand there another 20-30 once you arrive. Multiple times.Place your mobile order 2 years in advance and then you might get your order in a reasonable time.
Just order the foods for the kids today… I don’t know how they miss 3 smoothies from my order. And theirs classic grill cheese doesn’t look like I usually get.
Place never opens on time. Hours read 7-9p. Constantly never opens until 7:30. If you can’t open on time please change your hours. App for this location doesn’t work properly. No detox island green as an option. Other locations are more consistent and professionally ran.
I waited an hour and 10 mins. for 2 smoothies and they weren’t even made correctly, one of them didn’t come anywhere near the top of the cup and the other one had a whole strawberry still in it and was super chunky, I couldn’t even use a straw. People left and right that came in after me got their food and smoothies before me, and I couldn’t make any sense out of it, because my order was in the top left the whole time. And I waited there for basically the whole time and she rudely never really acknowledged me. I don’t really have a reason to ever come back here.
I ordered on Uber eats to come pick up my order and after 15 minutes of waiting to come pick up my food I get a message saying tropical smoothie rejected my order. I the. Went to the store and ordered the exact same thing and they made it for me. Lmao what a joke. That's just lazy. Also the workers looked incredibly upset that I walked in and gave me attitude the whole time I was ordering
Having just one employee who keeps touching her face and not washing her hands and only using one glove is the reason I won’t be returning.
Hands down the worst experience I’ve had. Out of bananas - a main ingredient for any smoothie place. The two girls are gossiping about personal drama. Allow skipping in line for friends they know. It took 30 minutes to get one smoothie - I left before I got it. The 5 dollars was not worth sitting there any longer. Horrible service. Management needs to rethink their weekend hires. Terrible.
