My new favorite North Atlanta sushi place! We had seaweed salad, toro nigiri, mackerel sashimi, spicy tuna roll, eel avocado roll, and dynamite roll. All were fantastic!! Short 10min wait for a Saturday night. Staff was friendly and efficient. I’m a big sushi fan and try lots of places, but this one stands out. I’ll be back for sure!

This was an absolutely wonderful experience on a rainy day. The food is fantastic and brought me back in memory to a trip to Japan that I had taken years ago.
Ate here with my wife who, by the way, LOVES this place.... Too hot for me... I mean the temp inside the place... LoL... Just another HITW sushi joint!!!!!

The best sushi I have found in Georgia. Everything I have tried is excellent and the service is top-notch. From the outside it doesn't look like much but it's definitely the place to go for a dinner sushi date.
Oh my gosh, this place is so yummy, so cute & intimate. My husband and I will definitely be making this our go-to spot for Japanese food. Our server was Stacey & she was so sweet and recommend some of her favs to us. We took her word and we ate ALL of it!!! The service was wonderful! Thank you guys! We’ll see ya real soon.
Lived in the area for two years and due to Covid only now getting out n about to try different restaurants.Tried Tanaka for the first time last night and it was pretty good.It’s a small cozy place in a strip mall, that was pretty busy with a continuous stream of customers on a Friday evening.We thought the food was very reasonably priced and service was good. Obviously freshness is key with sushi/sashimi and we couldn’t fault it, my sashimi dinner was excellent. Presentation of the food is simple, which perhaps takes away from just how good it is.We’ll definitely return.
