Enjoyed dinner, the rolls were amazing! I had salmon with mashed potatoes and broccoli ?.Ordered an espresso ?, didn’t like it.. it was not creamy and tasted like espresso and sugar. I swapped it out for “One Fine Day”, much better drink.Service was okay!
Very good. Consistently receive great service and food. Our out of town guests always like to eat here when they come visit. We had reservations and were seated immediately upon arrival. I enjoy the hot chicken and biscuits appetizer and love the filet with the potatoes au gratin. In the past I've also tried and enjoyed the wedge salad and the prime rib. Always a great meal here. Recommend.
Our first time at Stoney River was lovely. Watch out for the chicken biscuits - they're super spicy! Excellent sweet dinner rolls. Incredible rich and creamy crab bisque. We both ordered the regular cut filet mignon and enjoyed them. They steaks were a step up from a chain restaurant but not at the price point at Stoney River in my opinion. Filet Mignon was closer to a sirloin in taste and tenderness. Crème brûlée may have been the best I've ever had. Perfect service - attentive and courteous but never interrupting. An early dinner on a Wednesday worked out well, beating the crowds and getting top notch service.
Great Steak House, excellent on d'oeuvres and great service and what compliment th as t was some house cocktails.
On March 31st we had a reservation for 7 people. It was our grandson’s 13th birthday. Without any hesitation we decided to go there, based on our previous visits. This place isn’t the same anymore. There was a group of young men right next to our table that were extremely noisy, loud and obnoxious. Not a single member of a service team or the manager did anything to quiet them down. When we complained to our waitress she just smiled at us helplessly. Appetizers were great with one exception deviled eggs. They are terrible. We all ordered steaks all different temperatures. I do a lot of cooking myself. All the steaks came out the same temperature, medium rare. Kids wouldn’t eat them. And finally a very hefty bill. Over $500 Total waste of our time and my money. I am done with this place for good.
*No wait (we dined early in the day)*Sat right next to the fire place, beautiful ambience*Our server was terrific (I do not remember her name)*The drinks are SUPER strong if you like that (I had the Tequila Mockingbird)*The Hot Chicken Biscuits are no joke (they are blazing spicy... eat too hot for my tastes)*The spinach dip was fresh but could use more seasoning. I had to add salt.*The ribs were good. Very large portion but could've used more sauce.*The asparagus were overcooked*The parmasan fries were goodOverall I'd definitely go back!
Their onion soup is amazingService is great, prompt very attentive.Great place for casual Lunch and lovely place of evening date. Food is always fresh and hot. Enjoy this place.
My parents decided to take me out for my birthday, and my waitress Tia was absolutely amazing! However, me and my father’s steaks were lukewarm as ever as soon as they came out, as though they were sitting for a while. When we were offered a new meal, they only REHEATED and OVERCOOKED our steaks. Then, when we were offered another new FRESH meal, the manager brought it out while being the least bit remorseful for the product the kitchen decided to send out to us.Once the bill came, the waitress was more than happy to ask the manager to speak with us regarding feedback on our experience but when the waitress returned, she told us that the manager didn’t see it necessary to come speak with us and just removed both entrees from the bill. Now, we are a African American family and the manager was an African American as well and it seemed as though because she assumed we had an issue with our meal she did not want to be bother either “angry confrontational black people” when that was never the case. . With the manager refusing to come speak with us along with not even trying to understand why we wanted to speak with her, it seemed as though she thought we just wanted a free meal and didn’t care to even engage with guests, especially us and that was completely unacceptable and made myself as well as my family feel like our service truly was not worth taking note of or addressing head on.We are extremely disappointed as this was my first time at this restaurant and my parents consider this one of their go to for most special occasions. we hope they improve their managerial training but sadly, we will not be returning to this location in the future!Be blessed!**this was the Roswell location **
Went here for a group work lunch and they were very helpful. The server was very attentive and patient while we all caught up with each other. The table was perfect. Spaced out from the others and large enough for a group of six to sit with space. We have the steak egg rolls and spinach dip to start. Both were good for sharing and tasty!I had the French dip with broccoli for lunch. It was very tasty.Great parking area.
Our party of 8 was seated promptly at our reservation time. My mother, in a wheelchair, was wonderfully accommodated. The rolls are simply fantastic. Sweet bread with honey whipped butter is beyond delicious. Our party had steaks mainly. Seasoning and crust as well as temp on my ribeye was delicious. For the price, it can't be beat. Loaded baked potato was awesome. Small touches such as grated sharp cheddar cheese versus prepacked shredded cheese makes all the difference. My wife had the Chilean sea bass. She gave me a taste and it was wonderful. Delicious mix of soy and ginger. It has been a bit since my last visit. I won't wait to come back. Great job Stoney River!
