I want to preface this by saying I don’t write negative reviews unless the service was exceptionally bad. They should close this place down. Food in general was not good, and was made with multiple items missing and large amounts of incorrect condiments.Called to let them know, and someone on the phone offered to remake the incorrect sandwiches and give us the missing items. When I arrived the person at the drivethru had zero knowledge that they were to remake/replace items. They proceeded to argue and haggle for several minutes, only agreeing to give the missing items. Will never go back here again
Absolutely disgusting! I haven't had steak and shake since before the pandemic and the burger was cold as I could feel it through the wrapper. The bun wasn't toasted or anything. I'll never go back to any steak 'n shake. They should just shut them all down especially this one.
Arrived at 7:15 pm to get a sandwich and fries. Both front doors were locked, despite the sign saying they close at midnight, and 2 employees behind the counter. Another attempt at the drive-thru was equally unsuccessful after sitting at the order station for 30 minutes behind another car who evidently didn't get to order anything and left. I finally left without ordering. If Steak 'n Shake is having problems that means closing outlets, it deserves to close. The sooner, the better.
Ordered ahead to pick up in 2 hours. Got there on time only to wait another 30 minutes before the food was ready. Saw multiple people come in and get their food before me. All I ordered was 3 double steak burgers and still had to wait over 30 minutes from the time I put in that I wanted to pick the food up
We walked in at 5:30. We were the only customers there. There was one lady at the counter and one guy sitting at a table on his phone. After we sat down, everyone disappeared. After about 5 minutes of no one speaking to us, we walked out puzzled. Then we saw the guy who was at the table hiding around the corner, and the lady at the counter was now in her car smoking weed. Parking lot smelled good, but the entire experience was just bizarre
Went by to get the kids milkshakes after McDonals machines broke and on Sunday so no Chikfila...unfortunately they used the worst straws ever made for milkshakes. Plant based or paper straws do not work so kids couldnt get a single sip until we got home and used our own straws. By then the shakes has melted. We ended up just throwing them away.
No service we have to order on a tablet. The cook brings it to you. No waitresses no menu's anymore. Restaurant was empty, people walking out... Noone to seat them.milkshakes had more whipcream then ice ream.
Food was good but there were only 2 people working, took almost an hour to get our food after we had to order on a tablet. We almost left before we were served & then they screwed our order up.
This is the second time I went, unloaded kids out of the car and the dining, which was addressed as open had both the front doors locked, WITH customers inside at 630 pm. The first time they locked the doors, was at 1230 pm for lunch again, when they publicly stated that dining was open.We loaded our crying toddler back in the car seat and went to the drive thru to see why in the heck was the dining locked. We were told there was an AC issue. I don't know if the owner is aware the staff is just locking doors from much needed customers to this usual nearly vacant parking and appearance of being unbusy, but I don't see this location being open much longer. My family and I will never try to go back. Why load kids up and arrive at a diner that you don't even know is open or not?
Listen, I'm going to give this place five stars because the food never disappoints - but the service takes forever. Not sure if it's a staffing issue or what but if you go through the drive-thru expect to wait at least 30 minutes even with one or two cars in line. Glad this place reopened but wish it were faster.
