Mr Taco is good food at a reasonable price. The place looks great after the remodel. You still order at the counter so take some time to look over the menu before you step up to order.My tacos were well seasoned and very tasty. The rice and beans are a good side dish.If you want something special, ask about the bottle cokes that come from Mexico.We will be going back.
Decent, inexpensive Mexican food with very friendly people working there.We stopped by here for dinner last night and enjoyed the food. Two dinners, two drinks plus chips and queso was $32. You order up front and then take your number to a table. It was shocking how quickly the food came out. Our server was very nice as well.
There have been some recent remodeling done and the restaurant was expanded which really looks good. The food is typical for a Mexican restaurant but they mess up my order every time I go there. It is not complicated... chicken fajita. So I have started just ordering it to go. I ALWAYS sit there waiting for my food until everyone else is done eating. The food isn't bad its just not an enjoyable experience. Even when I get an order for takeout my food would be sitting on the counter and they would not call my name. I don't even know why I bother going there anymore.
Place looks nice food was good. went in today with my family and they were busy and struggling. There was a line as soon as I come in and busy as they were one of the girls in the cashier is making out with her bf. Knowing there’s a line she made time to show her affection in front of everyone not very profesional. Girl at the bar looked lost and couldn’t welcome people or anything. The only person I saw was nice and helpful was the lady going back and forth with the to go bags. Maybe she should be the one taking care of guests.
Went straight for the birria. Delicious and not overpowering with salt or spice. Will definitely go back!
Food was okay. The tacos fell apart ,but were good when added with the sauce. The beans and rice was dry with no flavor. No where on the menu did it say you had to order chips and salsa. We didn't receive any which is a normal given item with any Mexican restaurant we have ordered from. I do delivery service and I try new restaurants based on my visits there. We won't be ordering again
In my 55 years of life, I have never had a more authentic burrito and better tasting burrito. I've twice ordered the vegetarian burrito--perfect, flavor perfect texture. Once take out and once dine-in I've ordered this. This place harkens back to the Mr. Tacos of my days in Sacremento. I don't know if they're related, but if you want the "real deal" in Mexican Cuisine, this is it.
I have been to this place a few times and their food is always amazing. The prices are great! They definitely deserve 5 stars!
Very nice folks who work there. Good prices, good portions, clean and fast.I got the lunch fajitas. They don't't come on a sizzling plate but it didn't matter. The were good. Rice and beans were both good as well.I also loved the salsa bar, so many options.I'd come back and try tacos next time.
This is my regular go-to Mexican restaurant but really just for pick up or delivery. I dont enjoy the hectic,noisy atmosphere inside. It's a small place that does a brisk business which naturally would be more energetic than this old lady wants to spend much time in. The food is freshly prepared TexMex and counter service is quick. The salsa bar is good and labeled well so you know the various heat levels of its offerings. I am there 2 or 3 times a month and see no reason for that to change.
