If I could I would give Zero stars. Been there a few times didn’t like it. Friends wanted to order DoorDash and decided to order from here. Once again Major disappointment. We ordered fajitas for two.. we got no rice only one side of black beans.. to make matters worse Food was cold. meats were disgusting.. from my experience with food the shrimp, chicken and beef are of the lowest quality possible. Yet I pay $58 dollars for food we had to throw away.. this restaurant is joke and has been for a while
Wooao really this place is expensive, and the food is just regular, they charge me 15 us for a michelada, I paid over $50 us just for a lunch, I will never come back, on top of that the the server was like a hungry and Rude, I don't mind paying if the service is good, I will never go to a Monterrey restaurant anymore there is a ton of better places. Just positive vibes on my side
My boyfriend does DoorDash and went into Monterey to get a order and the host let someone steal his order for his costumer and didn’t let anyone know so not only did we waste gas but the costumer wasted money and I tbink it is absolutely ridiculous they don’t make anyone show them the DoorDash screen to show that someone is an actual DoorDash person do better
I really like Mexican atmosphere they have. Nice cute tables, attractive bar. On top of that you get friendly staff and very good portion sizes. Almost everything we tried was delicious and fresh. The only thing we didn't like - oversalted Ramen soup (btw, what is it doing in Mexican restaurant?).Therefore 4 out of 5 stars, which is very good. But there's always something to do better.
Menu to big. Got the burrito verde with chicken. Chicken was alright rice was over cooked and beans were over cooked . Didn't finish my meal.
Delicious food, fast service, nice people.Great for adults and kids, warm atmosphere.
I haven’t been to Monterrey’s in awhile. My family used to frequent there often prior to the pandemic. I called to make a pick up order and the lady misunderstood me about the order. When I went to pick it up, she was rude and argued with me saying I said one thing when I said the other. Very poor experience with customer service. I will not be returning.
- 20 stars. Awful customer service! No sense of care for the customer! I use to go here many years ago and this place was great but there was no one in there today but my wife and I. Mary S. was our server and she refused to refund my salmon salad that was terribly fishy and made me vomit. She acted as if I was trying to trick her when I told her I felt sick and I can't eat the salmon and pushed it away. She exhaled with exaggeration and insisted the fish was fresh and that she will not refund the salmon salad but was willing to exchange it. What part of being sick didn't she understand? She had zero empathy for what I was feeling! She seemed annoyed that I was interrupting her meal that she was eating at a table in the back. I will never step foot into this establishment ever again and suggest to everyone that if you want great service and accountability, DO NOT DINE HERE.
Very good traditional Mexican food and service.I had the hankering for steak ranchero so we went in search of a place near our temporary place and found this. We had a late lunch / early dinner and were greeted and seated right away.The chips and salsa were spot on - as was the queso. The steak ranchero was decent and my wife enjoyed her Parilla chicken. We will be back!
I've been going to Monterreys for many, many years and it's always been a great experience. Natalia is personable, caring and an excellent member of their team. Food is always fresh and as ordered. Monterreys is a neighborhood favorite and will hopefully be for many years to come.
