I’d rather go pickup a frozen pizza than pickup food from this Mellow Mushroom again. My wife and I ordered a chicken pesto pizza, had very little sauce and just a mountain of cheese on it. But the worst was the wings, they were rubbery and smelled like they were sitting in a fridge for a month. Basically overpriced gas station food. Do not recommend.
Seems to lack competent management. Left after waiting an hour for a table this afternoon. If we had been informed that getting seated would not really be an option we would have left earlier. Get that they are having trouble getting staff, but someone needs to be in charge.Update 6/7: Been back since, and they seem to have mostly fixed the issues from last time. Changing my review to 4/5 stars.
We went here for mother's day dinner and it was very disappointing. We were seated right away but then they forgot about us and we waited 25 minutes to place our order. Then they forgot about us a second time and we waited another 45 minutes for our food. The waitresses came up and was going to ask if we needed anything but noticed we didn't have our food. She said oh you are still waiting let me check on that. She came back a few minutes later with our pizzas but they were cold. We never received any apology or anything. I won't be going back to this location.
So disappointed in our food from the Mellow Mushroom in Roswell. We spent $83 on two large pizzas and a small salad. One of the pizzas was fine though barely warm. The other one was cold, even though we got it right after it had come out of the kitchen, and it looked like it was an already-cooked cheese pizza they had just thrown toppings on. I say this because the cheese was under the toppings and looked completely melted yet the toppings were loose on top, cold and no additional cheese! We placed an order online and were there when it was supposed to be done. We had to go back in THREE different times because it wasn’t ever ready for pickup. You would think after all that time that the pizzas would be hot! Sadly, no! Salad was good but not worth the price for its size. We will try another location next time and if that doesn’t leave us more ‘mellow’, we will be done with MM!
The pizza is fantastic here. I moved to ATL a week ago, and I've already been 2 times. This time I got Buffalo chicken, bacon, and ranch. I nearly crushed a large by myself.
Tragic. Took 20 minutes to get 4 drinks, one drink was wrong, the entire restaurant was unbussed tables, and it was very dirty.... Got some pretzel bites after over 30 min and those were fine. Asked for the check after that!
Sad to see this location go down hill. The pizza is still good but this is my third visit in the last 6 months and once I get a server they are great but waiting around while a group of young servers all stare at my table but don't move just keep chatting at the counter is just unacceptable. If I want Mellow Mushroom pizza, it will be worth going out of Roswell to another location that actually cares about their customers.
Great service - our favorite for comfort food on a cold night. First time at this location. Everything was great! Friendly staff, love the Spinach salad ?
Place has gone downhill. If you order for pickup add 30-40 minutes to the pickup time. I know pandemic staffing issues are a problem but it’s now a consistent problem. In restaurant seating is good especially outside seating but plan 90 minutes to order and eat.
Fantastic food and service. We went to the location on Woodstock Rd in Roswell. They were severely understaffed with just two waitresses on a busy Saturday, but Morgan still managed to provide exceptional service. She was attentive, upbeat, and super friendly. We had the meatball trio appetizer and one of their specialty pizza and they were delicious.
