First time eating here. They’re clearly understaffed, which can be overcome by a great menu but this wasn’t it. It was pretty disappointing to hear the person that appeared to be the manager and the cashier both blame the server with Down’s syndrome for tickets being rung up with incorrect table numbers, causing her to deliver wrong food to wrong tables. I heard both of them say to her ‘ you’re messing everything up,’ Outside of that, it was mediocre, overpriced food. My ticket was $70 for 5 sandwiches.
Decent sandwiches - not exactly the cleanest dining room - no idea about why they brag about the tea.We had an early dinner here tonight and the most interesting thing was the people who came through…it was quite the collection. I had the club which was decent but skimpy. My wife’s Italian was okay - she didn’t care care for it being heated. The tea was a good brew but it needed more sugar - barely even sweet at all.The dining room had several dirty tables and lots of trash on the floor and around the outside tables.I’m glad I tried the place - but it won’t be a favorite.
Great experience at this McAllister’s. Kind of a hidden location but great spot and quality food. Even better was the service on this night. Tamara and Saniya took great care of me at dinner and were doing so many different tasks as they worked the front counter but were attentive to anything I needed. Great service!
The food here is delicious. The service is pretty poor. There visits in a row they got my salads wrong. First visit, there was no chicken in the grilled chicken caesar salad. Second visit, I ordered a caesar salad and got home to find out it was another type of salad(it had corn, tomatoes, cucumbers etc) and the third visit, I asked for extra caesar dressing on the side and got multiple different dressings...probably five or six, all different types...none caesar. Check your bag before heading home!!
Decent food. Diverse menu. Not bad!
First time eating here and the last. I had the spicy southwest chicken I believe was the name. That's all it was, just spicy. No taste. Then I order the cucumber and tomato salad. 5 freaking dollars for literally a fist full. That was a rip off. I gave it a 2 because the other person liked their sandwich and the cake was okay. It was suppose to be a chocolate cheesecake but, it didn't taste anything like a cheesecake. That $51 order could've been spent at a better restaurant.
Compared to the Texas locations, this one is a five star like they are. Very friendly staff and the sandwiches are made to perfection. I love the McAlister’s Club Sandwich and the Roast Beef. The restaurant itself is clean and they have staff dedicated to keeping it that way.
My first visit was awesome. The salad was delicious and service was friendly. On my second visit they didn't allow people in, which was fine but, the chips they'd given me for that same delicious, beautiful salad on my first visit....were as stale as they could be.How do you not check your inventory in a restaurant?
DJ is truly amazing. Even being understaffed he made my visit an extremely pleasurable one. He carried the weight of three employees with a smile and made sure I left smiling as well. Thank you DJ!
I went here tonight for dinner. It looks like they had a nice menu to order from. We ended up leaving before we had a chance to order. They only had one person working the counter with no cook in sight. I also noticed that several people were waiting at the tables with no food being delivered. The staff / management seem to be very poor here.
