Place was dirty, not kept up. Service was poor. When asking questions of waitor about food served, he was real defensive. Eggs were under cooked and hash browns were raw. Coffee grounds in the coffee. Not a good breakfast at all.
This is my neighborhood IHOP. I hate to write a bad review, but I need it to change. There used to be tons of visitors here and it was a great place to enjoy breakfast. Even the two teenagers I was with asked me not to go to this one because the service is horrible, but I prefer to support my neighborhood businesses. They were right. The manager actually sat down in a booth across from us and took our order, the silverware wasn't just dirty but had food caked up on not just one but two of the serving sets. The manager got our order wrong and through all this not once did she say, I'm sorry. The young lady she sent over to act as our new server was very pleasant and did an amazing job. The manager just gave up, never once asked if we needed anything. She said she called her manager and she said she didn't do anything wrong. That made no sense to me. The restaurant only had maybe 4 tables with customers so it wasn't busy. I would love to support the IHOP in my neighborhood, but I can understand why it's no longer busy or what it once was. Even when you pull up it looks closed because it's really dark and no longer visited by a lot of customers cars in the parking lot. It's not the same in Alpharetta.Please do something to retrain the manager and get our neighborhood IHOP back to where it once was.
We came in after a concert and the manager told us they only had 1 cook so it was a wait. We decided to wait and it was the best experience I’ve ever had! With just 1 waitress, 1 busboy and 1 cook they killed it! Tyana was so sweet and handled it like a boss. The food was absolutely amazing and worth the wait! Go see this amazing staff!
We went here after the Backstreet Boys concert and they told us when we walked in there was about a 25 minute wait because they only had one cook. We decided to wait. Our server was Tyana and she was absolutely phenomenal! Everyone there did a great job and I would recommend this location. Thank y’all for the awesome service.
One of the worst service experiences I have had. It was late night, almost the only place open after midnight in the area. There were 4 servers and maybe 5-6 tables sat when I arrived. Servers spent most of their time chatting/on their phones rather than bussing the dirty tables or checking on anyone waiting while the host/manager was overwhelmed with just a few to-go orders. Each server only had 1 or 2 tables, but most couldn't seem to keep up with the basics.Our server forgot our drinks and appeared to be under the influence of drugs. When she did come by to deliver the drinks (after 20 minutes and we were her only table), she said she would come back with straws, never came back. When ordering a refill on a drink, she came 1/2 way to the table several times with the drink, then back to the beverage station. This process repeated of walking half way, then back for approximately 5 minutes. Our food was left in the window, pancakes were hard (not the chef's fault).If there was a manager there, they were ineffective... at best. They didn't train/support/hire a staff that is capable or willing. The one person holding that location together was the cook. He was working extremely hard and was bothered by servers not picking up their food in the window while they socialized with friends, each other, and were using their phones. I feel bad for him, and for him alone I gave it 2 stars, not 1. Lastly, I also observed a cockroach walking around on the ground near our table in the back of the restaurant. I could say much more, but this review is already long-winded.
Well, I’ve been to many IHOP’s in my life and unfortunately this is one of those that I won’t return to. I know the restaurant is old and I took that into consideration when writing this. The staff was very nice and we were greeted quickly and politely upon our arrival. We were seated within seconds si ce it was not busy. The dining area could have used a little bit of cleaning. Our table was still wet when we sat from the rag and had a slight “old rag water” odor. The booths may need to be updated beggar when you sit in them you almost sink to the floor because they are so old. Our server was polite and we placed our drink order. I ordered a coffee and a water. When the server brought my water there was a few particles floating in it and I asked for another water and she brought me another. When she brought the second water there pancake batter or something even larger floating in it. You would think that she would have kinda looked at it first but that’s what I got. My girlfriend who was with us has been a server for 20+ years and she feared that perhaps this was not a sanitary establishment to eat at so we politely excused ourselves and decided to eat elsewhere. The staff and the server were very nice and polite but the building is very old and could use some updating and the restaurant could use a deep cleaning. We did not leave due to poor service.
We went really early prior to dropping our kids in school as it was our daughter's birthday. They are always consistent and in this instance the waiter was extremely special with our little one. We will definitely come back to this location.
Everything was excellent until I ordered a to go drink with my meal them folks charged me $4 for a sipi cup stuff like that makes u ask for your money back
Food was great. If you're craving pancakes then this def the spot. My pancakes were super hot right off the flat top butter melted perfectly
I have no idea why people still come to this place, must all be travelers just imagining this to be their regular ihop, it’s unfortunately not. We weren’t greeted or welcomed, thought it’s pick your place to sit, but rudely stopped by an African American guy saying rude things. This place has a racism and waiters/waitresses giggling and judging at people, poor food quality, above all an unclean and a shabby place. I have never eaten in a place this bad in all aspects in my entire life. Please close this place!
