This place will never disappoint me. One of my top local Mexican restaurants of all time. I've been coming to this location for years now and it always feels the same. I enjoyed every single meal I have had here. I'm almost done with the menu but not quite yet!
While not my favorite, the food is decent and the service good. Pretty good frozen margarita. My friends like the food more then I. Personal preferences.
Food was great. Told myself only to eat half, but wound up eating it all. Salsa was great too.
Good place for yummy Mexican food. Salsa was excellent, service was nice and did was tasty and well portioned. Restaurant is large with lots of seating indoors and outdoors. Bar area looked great too!
The BEST damn beef soft tacos in the world! My favorite Mexican Restaurant i've been coming here for 20 years and will always stop by if in the area. Amazing tacos, with excellent seasoned beef combined with an excellent cheese blend and shredded lettuce. The salsa and cheese dip are always very complimentary.
Food is very good and tasty. Service is nice as well. It is right off of the road and provides a nice view of town hall.
Salty My lasting takeaway is the food had a heavy handed salt taste. Each of the three items I tasted all had the same over salty taste.The service was great. No complaints there. Everyone had a friendly demeanor. I like that in any place.Probably the best food feature was the chips and salsa. The salsa was fresh with a nice smoke quality.I try Mexican restaurants all over the city and really love the authentic cuisines that originate in the various regions in the country. Each has its own flavors. The problem with my experience at El Zarape had everything to do with the food being too salty. That something that kills a food experience.
The food and service is Phenomenal. I travel around looking for best Margaritas and hottest hot sauce I can find. Sergio was a great server and great conversationalist as well as great bar tender. There Margaritas are great and host sauce is hot so I’ll be back for sure.
Great meal and service. We sat out on the patio listening to the two gentleman playing music. Very relaxing atmosphere.
