Went to dine inside but the dining room seemed to be closed. So ended up ordering through the drive through and the food was pretty good. So they must be short staffed but that’s true for all other fast food restaurants that n town
I hadn't had Captain D's in quite a while. I was very disappointed to find out that they no longer offer fried clams as an option and especially since that is what I specifically came in to purchase. There was a very helpful and patient gentleman cashier who helped me figure out something that took care of my hunger pains. I would return to this location, if only to enjoy the warm customer service. ??
The lady at the drive through was so friendly and helpful! So rare these days. The shrimp was hot and delicious.
It was surprisingly good for being fast food, my spicy fish sandwich was nice and crispy although the picture showed one large piece they put two small pieces. The fries were hot and fresh and it was not busy at all. The dining room was clean and the condiments containers were full.
I ordered a meal at drive thru, pulled up to the window. No one to greet me even though they saw me and they kept the window closed. I couldn’t even speak to them. Two workers inside standing around. I waited over 20 minutes for my meal at the “fast” drive thru. When I finally got her to open the window for me to ask her why it was taking so long, she said she was busy getting my meal ready, then promptly slammed the window shut again. As she was handing me my simple meal she asked sarcastically if I was mad. I didn’t even answer her. (At the time I pulled into their parking lot 4:45 pm, there were no customers inside! ). All I got there was Attitude, I would have left the food behind but she had my money.
Being a loyal customer for 40 years, I stopped by this same restaurant (on Holcomb Bridge Rd.) a week ago and decided not to go back again. The fish tasted soft and bad, and the batter was so heavy. The fish is not crunchy and crispy at all. Talked to a manager and was told thy switched the fish (due to supply shortage of its original one) and changed way of cooking the fish. What a disappointment!
I never had cold fries from here until firiday. My lemon seasoning was missing from my shrimp. Other than that, everything else was good. Service was fast.
First time I have been inside since the Pandemic started. First thing I noticed was that ALL their prices had gone up! But this seems to be the normal or standard way of doing business. I ordered the Butterflied Shrimp which also had increased in cost. I thought I had ordered from the Senior Menu, including my "Senior Tea", but no Senior discounts were given, nor any Military discounts either. Even though I'm 82 years old, I paid full price for everything. The Staff was very friendly, and were in good spirits. I'll have to get another check before I can go back. I miss LaWanda, because she was always the best!Oh, before I close....the food was excellent. No complaints there!
Beautiful job of remodeling this location and new management.Front line cashier has been working there at least 8 year's.Love the broiled Salmon with no seasoning (my request) and I spread butter on it.All their deserts are tasty. Splurge!!!Ice tea is always good.
Loved the fennel sticks... Butterfly shrimp was amazing..baked potato was great too..but little bit of topping would have been good as standard...fish was loved...didn't like okra fry..but overall very impressed with taste...
