The gluten free options are incredible. I can hardly believe they’re gluten free. The Lavender muffin is my favorite.

Their salads are so incredibly yummy. My cinnamon crumb muffin was delish. The pimento cheese was divine too.delightful. Shall be back. Come one come all.

Amazing sandwich and pastry the house made breads are a treat as well

We visited this incredible bakery this morning We walked down from a great location for a hotel, Marriott Courtyard, Riverwalk. The owner and all staff were incredibly friendly. The cinnamon smell beckoned us. Then the French pressed fresh coffee, free range eggs, homemade warm wheat toast and stone ground local grits made for a beyond delicious breakfast! There was also fresh fruit with Greek yogurt that was divine. Even our grandson could not stop eating the homemade bread and muffins. We highly recommend this wonderful bakery with a staff and owner who enjoy their customers in a beyond wonderful manner. The Grants

Sunflour Community Bakery is a gem!! Bookmarked as one of the best establishments I've visited.Delicious variety of vegan (and non-vegan options). Locally sourced ingredients and wonderful, kind people who take pride in what they do. And the place itself is so cute and homey. They're on a corner with street parallel parking and as of 2/26, have outdoor heated seating, take out, and curbside pickup and require masks indoors (yay!!!)We had a vegan sandwich with all toppings except mustard, avocado toast, full breakfast, a non-vegan sandwich, vegan chili, and a few bakery items (including some delicious looking vegan apricot bars). We all loved the food and are very excited to try the delicious looking pastries. My photos don't do them justice. Portions are great and prices inexpensive for the quality:)If tofu is ever added to the menu, I will be over the moon!!All in all, a wonderful, community-oriented bakery/cafe! I will visit everytime I'm in Rome and you should too ^_^ Thank you to everyone at Sunflour:)

I can't rate the place on taste because I did NOT receive the cake I ordered. They get 2 stars because they were nice on the phone. Here's the story.A couple weeks ago, I ordered a gluten free sheet cake for 12 by phone. The lady was very nice and apparently took copious notes about the decoration and the occasion. Do you need a deposit? No. You can pay when you pick it up at 10 on February 24th. Tuesday last week, I thought about calling to confirm, but one thing led to another and I didn't. BIG MISTAKE.On Thursday the 24th, at 10, I went to collect my cake before driving to Blue Ridge for the weekend. NO CAKE. Woman didn't know what I was talking about. Second woman finally showed up with the note in her hand. "I'm sorry It got behind some other papers and we don't have a cake for you." We stood there looking at each other until I finally turned and walked out. LIVID, but adult enough not to say something I'd regret.IMAGINE the devastation if that had been a cake for a child's birthday instead of a group of adults? It's hard enough to be gluten intolerant or having celiac without having NO Birthday cake for your party. LEARN from my error. If you order anything from these people, ride their butts DAILY until your order is in your hot little hands. *I* will not be ordering from them again.

WOW. This place is such a gem. I just stopped in for the first time and can't believe what I've been missing. The tomato bisque is phenomenal, the spices and flavorings are unique but still so comforting. The mozz sandwich is delightful. To top it all off, the owner was so warm and welcoming! I will definitely make a point to eat here whenever I am in Rome.
