I have just tried to use my birthday coupon that Steak ‘n Shake gave me in the steak n shake app at the Rome Georgia location and they claimed they do not take coupons from the app. Why offer the birthday coupon for a free Double n cheese and fries if I cannot use it. What made me even more upset was when I received my receipt from food I decided to purchase it said “Don’t forget to use the app on each purchase to earn rewards.” I’m not happy why put that on the receipt when they don’t even let you claim your rewards.
Great place and very good food! I love the hamburger and shake! I will eat there again!
Our drive-thru cashier was VERY rude, to put it nicely. She took her sweet time with everything, gave us an attitude every time she opened her mouth, and didn't even manage to give us our correct change. The most important part of her job. I guess she couldn't count. Fries were cold and disgusting (we got home and sat down to eat in less than 5 minutes). Milkshakes were only filled about halfway, and melted because we waited so long for them to give us everything. We only ordered 2 burgers, got rung up for 3, and it was made incorrectly like all the others. As we were leaving we asked specifically for straws for our milkshakes and drinks. Of course, we didn't get them either.I usually love Steak 'n Shake. If you like it as much as I do, DO NOT go to the restaurant in Rome, Ga.
We used to love eating at steak and shake. Then it seemed like their burgers got more greasy. But we decided to try them again and they were much much better.
I appreciate that this steak and shake still has table service. They also still have salads on their menu. I have noticed several around here have a very reduced menu.
Not the place it used to be... Waitress is rude and you can tell she don't want to be here. The other waitress was lovely to her customers. The place is nasty. Tables are stained , floor is nasty etc.
Really good burger and onion rings. The waiter did get 2 of our items wrong but i understand how food service is bc it gets hectic sometimes. If it wasnt for that i would give 5 stars. But the waiter was very polite i will definitely be back!!
The service was great! We got our food fast and it was delicious! 5 out of 5 stars!
We went through the drive thru and said that we had 3 separate orders, the drive thru said we had to come inside to order a takeout order. When we came inside to order we were told that they had already closed out the register, so we had to go back through the drive thru. The young lady that was mopping the floor and the manager was very rude. We were waved at very rudely as we walked out the door to get back into our car to go back through the drive thru. All we wanted to do was order some milkshakes and leave but we couldn’t even do that. The website says they close at 10 and we arrived at 9:45. Either they need to update their website or close when they say they are. The women that was working the drive thru was very kind, I wish I could say the same for everyone else.
Good Location, convenient, close to anything in Rome, Ga. I make frequent trips from Huntsville AL to Marietta (Atlanta), GA and I have stopped here numerous times. Great location for Steak n Shake.
