Deceiving from the outside but beautiful on the inside. Cold beer and good service, that is all you need on a hot day. I am from South Africa and was on a trip through to Alabama. The bar lady was very friendly and helped me with a choice of good local beer. I will definitely be back.
Nice, friendly people, always a good time. Food is good, inside looks great, bathrooms always clean. Smoking inside and only beer, wine and wine based liquor are our drawbacks, which accounts for the 4 stars, but we still come out for a change of pace and karaoke. If those things don't bother you, it's def a 5 star!
My first 1st time here since new owners I and my companion came in...the food was really great and might I add the cook is not only amazing but exquisite.. after we ate we sat at the bar and we were greeted by a brown headed woman, we ordered a bucket if budlight and we played some pool..we kept trying to get her attention and then a few people came in and we were ignored.. So I get passed and give me my bill so I can go else where n get better service.. this was approx 3 weeks ago..so fast forward we were wanting chicken phillys so we went back this past weekend we were greeted by a blonde headed woman she wasn't very friendly and had a disgusted look on her face we ordered the trio it was awesome fried green tomatoes mushrooms and cauliflower so good and we ordered chicken Phillys they were great those phillys are awesome real chicken not processed they are really great love them we wanted to buy a bucket of bud light but had to go to bar to get and both women were behind the bar drinking alcohol and talking to a group of people at the bar laughing drinking cutting up so we got a bucket of beer but girl acted as though it was a bother to her the other girl never quit drinking and laughing with people so after we drank 2 beers each we left in parking lot a man came up asked us if we wanted to buy some weed we were like no .....I was hoping I had a new restaurant to eat at and have my beer but with the attitudes that the 2 women give I will not come back for a 3rd trip I'm sorry but I will go to another place but the food was awesome.. it was well cooked ........

We went out to be with friends. The food was delicious and the waitress could not have been nicer. I don’t sing myself, but I enjoy watching people especially ones who are brave enough to get up and sing. Check out my mom and our friend Marvin. Who says you can’t have fun in your nineties. PS the owner Allen is super nice. He has done a great remodeling job. Go check it out.
Good food good folks a bit pricey for a Roadhouse but good atmosphere.
Stopped by at 6pm to grab a drink and dinner with my under age son at 6pm on a Friday night on our way to CENTRE,AL. I was told we couldn't stay because my son wasn't 21. This puzzled me. My kids have sat at Local microbreweries with me in Cartersville GA where they serve NO food. Cant be the food/alcohol proportion unless microbreweries have different laws(doubt it). Michael's law allows kids to eat at bars and taverns if accompanied by a parent(a legal exception to this law)so Im not sure why there would be a ban here. Oh well. We left and drove to JC Weiss bar and grill in Centre AL and it was Great! Guess this place won't be a Friday stopping point for dinner with the family on our way to Alabama. Their website says they are "family friendly" clearly they aren't. Under "Amenities" on their website it states they have "High Chairs". How many people 21 and over do you know that sit in HIGH chairs? VERY CONFUSING!!!!

Great food. Great folks. Really enjoyed the atmosphere. It's a complete turn around from the reputation it had. If it wasn't a 21 & up place it would be somewhere I'd take my kids.
