Home cooking you will enjoy. Family and friends are always very pleased with the food and service. Great place to eat and relax.

This restaurant is always busy and highly frequented by the locals. They prepare traditional Southern fare. Their pork chop is nicely cooked, but a bit too salty. Green beans are tasty. Their blackberry cobbler is very sweet and delicious. Not much parking space.

Excellent food but I have had a grumpy server before that asked the same question at least 5 times while preparing 3 to go plates. Even after asking the same question multiple times she apparently wasn't listening to what was being answered because she gave us more drinks than we had asked for, leaving one wasted after it was returned. I wouldn't let one bad apple spoil the whole bunch! The food is excellent, might I recommend going on a Thursday for their special, chicken and dressing! Highly recommended for some southern style home cooking, which is getting harder and harder to find around town.

Good ol country cooking! The Ladies are super nice and the food is great! If I could give them 10 stars I would!

My husband was hungry for country cooking and this came up on search. I had chicken and dressing. Mashed potatoes and green beans. Yummy. Topped it off with a piece of sweet potato pie. Really enjoyed it!

Not a big variety to choose from but the taste makes up for it. Definitely will go back and recommend to all my friends and family.

A friend and I visited for the first time for dinner after a colleague recommended the food. The ladies at the counter were friendly. The food was subpar, and tasted like it had been under the heat lamp since lunch. They close at 6:00 pm, and we were there at 5:10. By 5:50, a man was standing at our table trying to clean as we were eating. He kept reminding us that they closed at 6, but we were fully aware of the time. I tried to get a refill of tea, and the man blocked me from walking toward the counter and told me they had dumped the tea for the day. He then took the remainder of our trays of food at 6:00 on the dot, and told us to leave. I'm not sure I've been anywhere that has treated me so poorly. I was wearing my company logo, and did not want to act according to my feelings because I did not want to poorly represent my place of work, but I was infuriated! We will never go back there, and I will share this experience with the hundreds of colleagues my company employs in Rome. The food is certainly not worth the dehumanizing experience.

Amazing okra, red velvet cake, fried chicken, and my favorite thing was how they offered to cook items not on the menu for the day if we wanted it. The staff was friendly. The restaurant doesn't look like a restaurant from outside or inside but once you eat the food you no longer care about anything but the taste.

Food is great but there's one woman that works at Stanley's that give you child portions. I hate when she fixes my take out trays.

Delicious fried chicken. Mashed potatoes and gravy. Turnip greens. Husband had catfish filets fried perfectly. All very good.
