My friend and I was looking for another place to eat but could not find it so we ended up eating here. Iam so glad I did! I love fried mushrooms and they make them handmade, they were really great. I also had the hoagie ham Michael and was the best gourmet sandwich I ever had. Only thing that I would suggest would be to add homemade chips or fries.
Enjoyed some sandwiches on the patio- and we brought our lab who happily napped at our feet! Very friendly staff!
We've loved this place for years! We typically get a smorgasbord of our favorite dishes and split, since we can never decide. ? I like going when there's no one there hardly, as well as when it's a full house. Just a good place to go for: the memories from our youth, all-American, comfort cuisine and full bellies. Schroeder's is Rome, and that is home.
I just recently ordered a small pizza with spinach and fried onions. It was one of the best pizzas I have ever had! The tea was excellent and everyone in there seems to be nice. They have EXCELLENT fried mushrooms as well. They are the type of fried mushrooms that can even be enjoyed the next day. Just throw them in the oven or air fryer and you’re in business. Also, I read some comments that said they were given bad service or something of that nature. I can’t speak for their experience but our last waitress was the sweetest thing with a lovely smile!!! I plan on eating with this establishment for the foreseeable future. Thank you for taking the time to read the review.
Dinner was great. Fried mushrooms were just as I remembered, AWESOME! The Ruben was a bit of a disappointment due to its size. I expect a Ruben to be like high. Very tasty, but very small for the price. Still, flavor trumps size in my book, so 5 stars.
Found a hair in my food, I asked for store owner was given no response. The Manager was a woman she never gave me her name. She also was the cook. She had no hair net on and when I asked where it was she said she had a hat on but her hair was in braids. She basically did not seem to care and got defensive when I asked why she was not wearing a hair net. But she sure had her mask on. Never coming back here food is overpriced and the customer service is far to none. Subway has better service and cheaper food!
Delicious food! Friendly service. French do sandwich was wonderful and the tots were perfectly crispy.
They didnt give very big portions at dinner. Little disappointing. But over all it was nice and friendly.
Tasty pitas are the order of the day. The service is friendly and everything is wheelchair accessible.
Tastes the same as it did in the 80's. Always good food in a familiar, cozy environment. Hot tuna meltdown is my favorite!
