My 2 kids ate an entire 14" pepperoni pizza they loved it. I had the Philly Cheese Steak and it was delicious. My daughter also got the Mozzarella Cheese Sticks and those we really good as well. Outdoor seating looked great but we sat inside where table were spaced quite nicely.
Wonderful purple heart restaurant. I loved the tribute to our country and our service members. I had to try the Sam burger. I enjoyed it. Unfortunately it was the last thing I ate before getting puking sick when I got home later. Not sure what happened, but two days later feeling a little better. Waitresses were very nice. Would have been a 5 star experience for me had I not gotten so sick. Keep up the sweet hospitality.
Food was delicious. But waiting for over an hour for our food was the main drag. After waiting thirty minutes with no server coming to our table they tell us our order was lost. No mention of anything complimentary or anything. I had to ask if we could get a complimentary appetizer while we waited once again. We waited over thirty more minutes and the salad and cheese steak finally arrived. We got the bill and they charged us for the complimentary cheese sticks. Not a great first experience.
Passing through town on a trip and stayed overnight in our RV with Harvest Hosts. Thank you for sharing your parking lot and serving our meals that hit the spot. Service was very efficient and friendly. Onion Rings tasted very good as did our dinner selections. We enjoyed the patio and appreciated your allowing our dog to join us. She loved the kids. I recommend you eat here if close by.
Very cool place. The burgers were fantastic and the Philly cheese steak is on point! Nice atmosphere and great service. Might be the best burger place in Rome. This was our first time here and we will definitely be back sooner than later!
The Volkswagen bus with air plane wings is what caught our eye. We like stopping at new places. The food and service was really good. Met the owner Sam, he is Very interactive with his customers and making sure things are good. The whole inside walls of this little place are decorated with pictures of past and present Veterans. It is a truly touching place to visit. If you know of a veteran, take them here to eat and to say hi to Sam.
My wife and I stopped to try the burgers. The burgers were good, but…for two 1/4 pound burgers, fries and soft drinks, the bill was $35. I added a $5 tip, so total was $40! I won’t be returning. Nothing special to see inside. Make sure you stop at the ATM before going. $$$
Sam’s has the best food, unique interior and exterior. The owner truly appreciate his customers and always walks around checking in on his quest. Everyone is friendly and service is great. Our 2nd visit and more to come!!
just went there tonight service was terrible waited 20 mins for someone to take drink order then waited almost a hour for food which was horrible my salad was brown and real soft then had 2 people join us instead of taking their order they was asked if they were going to eat others left overs. I will not be back and now everyone that was with me including myself stomach's are hurting. this place just lost the business of 12 people tonight.
First time here. Cool decor. Was pleasantly surprised with the veterans especially being a veteran myself. But since we're not here for the decor, let's talk about the food. We ordered sweet tea which was really sweet. We ordered fried pickles which were soaking in grease. So much so there was grease at the bottom of the basket. The waitress was pleasant and attentive. The burgers we ordered quarter pound samburger with bacon and I have to say the burger was meh. Don't get me wrong. There wasn't nothing wrong with the burger but, definitely did not taste as good as the price for the burger and fries. All in total for two people was 48 bucks!. Wow. That was for two people. Tip not included . After a 20% tip for the good job the waitress did. The total came out to 56 bucks for lunch!! I'm giving it three stars because it's pretty damn expensive that was an average burger.
