I was excited to try McAllister’s tonight, but unfortunately, after our food was thrown away because our pick up person got there a few mins late, I will never order from there again. Our food was paid for and was bagged up and staff threw it away while the pick up person was watching. Not to mention the manager was eating some of the food from a bag. When our pickup person attempted to explain Hannah told them that they(McAllister’s) were not obligated to make anymore food for us. Also she would not refund our money stating that the cash register was already closed down for the night and also informed us we would need to come back the next day with order numbers before we could be refunded. We work at a local hospital and don’t always have time to go out to get food and to have someone throw our food away after it was paid for and in front of our pick person was rude and hateful.
Ordered chili on 1/23/22. It was a very small container for the price and no crackers but look at the picture for the real problem! It was a bowl of grease and not edible. Never again! Guess they don’t care, they never responded to this mess!
Me and my husband came here for lunch today 3/7/22 and I ordered a Grill Chicken Salad, well about 5 min in on eating the salad I see a hair?. They asked to remake the salad and ended up making the second one wrong. Oh yea I was also offered a free brownie to make up for the hair!!! I’m not returning anymore.
Ooops! I think they forgot us! Took a half hour to get our dine in order, 2 sandwiches, we asked how long till ready, got it 5 minutes later. Another customer had to ask for hers too. I had the BLT-A, DELICIOUS! Scott had a Rueben, we didn't realize " spud chips" was a glorified name for a bag of chips, I reccomend ordering a different side. If we go back, we will not order sandwiches most likely, we will try the stuffed potatoes.
Never eating here again, for several reasons:- First & most importantly.. my partner & I both got terrible food poisoning from this restaurant. We ordered carry-out on Wed. 12/29, each of us getting a different sandwich and same side salad. Salad seemed a little off; served in different containers than usual, and not as fresh as it usually is, but not noticeably bad or rotten. After that my partner went down to Atlanta overnight to stay with a friend.. it was the only meal we both ate together that day. Next morning, we both had horrible stomach cramps, reflux, and vomiting.. at the exact same time, in different cities. Make of that what you will.. not a coincidence, if you ask me. Not sure if it was bad lettuce or a hygiene issue but the side salad was the only item we both shared. My vomiting happened on my hour-long drive into work and needless to say it completely ruined my day.As if that wasn't reason enough to never give this business my money again:- More than once we haven't received any pickles with our order- Partner has had LONG wait for a pickup order placed well in advance more than once, only to have customers behind him in line get their food first & items missing once food is finally done. Makes you question why bother ordering ahead in the first place.- Not a single time we have ordered ahead and gone through drivethrough has the touch-screen pickup system worked. Twice it has been blank with no names at all and another time it didn't register any touch input. At this point they might as well just give up on any functioning order-ahead, which is a definite knock for any restaurant these days.I love McAlister's food, but after our experiences here that's it for ever eating from this location again, if not the brand entirely. It should never feel like rolling the dice just to order food from a restaurant.
Good food but pricey. Ordered a sub (6inch) with a side. Drink and cookie and a kids meal (grilled ham and cheese). Ended up being $26.05. Was also turned off by the fact that the cashier asked me if I wanted my change back or if he could put it in the tip jar that was right in front of me. The shinning star was the gentleman that was bringing food out and bussing tables. He fixed a problem with our order quickly and was on the ball the entire time we were there.
Absolutely loved. Great food. Friendly staff. Fast Service. Very clean restaurant. If you've never ate here, then I 100% recommend it.
Grabbed a salad and cookie- salad was ordinary, nothing to write home about. Received the smallest cookie imaginable- looked nothing like advertised picture. I don't eat here often, but I will definitely not be repurchasing dessert ever.
We have eaten here a few times in the past, but the service and quality was very disappointing today. We waited over 30 minutes for 2 sandwiches and a cup of soup. When we received the 1/2 club wrap it was all lettuce with very little meat. My fiancé’s sandwich was packed. I took a picture but it doesn’t let me post it here. Also all the napkin holders were empty! Management/ owners needs to step it up
I was excited about this store we moved to Rome and use to eat at the one in Hiram. Loved the corn clam chowder and the Reuben, but noticed a few things missing from the menu. We ordered and were told the chip reader was down so they only excepted cash. So we sat down and waited and waited, then our tea and my wife's water was brought to the table. My wife took a drink of the water and almost spit it out. It smelled like mop bucket water. Then I also notice my tea tasted funny. As we were waiting noticed people coming in and out with orders, after 35 minutes we decided to leave. We were given our money back and went to Steak & shake, there we ate for $6 less with good water and milkshakes. Disappointed
