Great meal, great service. Our server Randy gets an A+
Food was outstanding. They had no fresh catch up the day which was on the menu, and were out of another item, which we wanted. Would have been nice to know that in advance, rather than when we tried to order them. Also, we ordered two sides and they never showed up so had them cancelled before the check came. Overall still a great place and weâd go back for sure
When we got there we were seated and everything was going well. Our server came by to get our drinks. Service seemed to take a little while. We got our first round of drinks and ordered an appetizer. Then we ordered our dinner. Our second round of drinks took a noticeably long time to get. We both ordered the crab stuffed flounder which automatically came with mashed potatoes and another side. I chose Brussels for mine and he chose the roasted cauliflower. Our server brought our entrees and my Brussels and assured us sheâd be right back with his cauliflower. About 6 minutes go by and we donât see our server at all. I finally see her come into the dining room again but she didnât come by with our other side still. She comes in and out a total of three times before I waved her over to our table to inquire about our mystery missing side. At this point we are both more than halfway finished with our meal. The side never comes. Eventually a manager or possibly lead server stops by to apologize for the missing cauliflower. They bring it out after Iâve asked for the rest of our food to be boxed up. They box it up as well to send it with us. We were not charged for the side. I am a server in a fine dining restaurant as well. My advice to the server and management, in an instance such as this it is always best to communicate with the table because what was happening for us is while we were waiting on this, instead of enjoying the very expensive meal that we just purchased and came out for weâre sitting here thinking where is the cauliflower? Why are they not coming back? Where is the server? Why are we not being communicated with about this? So instead of focusing on our dining experience we were focusing on that instead which kind of ruined the experience. If the server had come and told us that It was going to be a while for the side we probably would have chosen something else instead. Or at the very least not been there wondering what was going on.

It wasnât really a good experience. This restaurant positions itself as the best in Rome, GA. This may be so, but the food wasnât impressive. My veal saltimbocca was heavily over-salted. The same were âlocal mushrooms.â Burrata was OK, but unimpressive. Taken from Publix, I suppose. My wife ordered the trout. Very ordinary. We will not come again, because it was not worth money. Truth being said, I didnât check the wine list.
We took my wife's parents there. We all really enjoyed it. This is a go-to place for nice occasions.
3/25/22 Arrived to the venue, was seated at a table by a waiter. We were not offered any water, no bread, nothing at all. 20 minutes went by and we were still not helped. The waiter that seated us, walked by our table at least 3 or 4 times and not once did he bother to check to see if we were ok or asked if we have been helped yet. After stating our complaint to the manager, that particular waiter said that he "Forgot" to let someone know we were at a table. Now the manager did try and wanted to make it right, but we already wasted 20 minutes of our time and decided to leave.
Have not been here in YEARS. Will have to come back sooner this time. We had a wonderful dinner. Our table had the Ahi Tuna Nachos and the Filet Mignon Meat Balls for appetizers. For our main course we had Filet, the Mushroom Truffle Risotto (from the appetizer menu) and the Springer Mountain Chicken. Desert was a "Birthday" Canoli. Everyone was very happy with the food. The wait staff was also very good. Highly recommend.
This is hands down my favorite place to eat in North GA! My husband and I go about every other week. Service is top notch and we always ask for Randy. He is our favorite! The food is absolutely phenomenal!
