Good food and Deserts. Neat Deli/Bakery with Lots of Options.Nothing Dairy Free in the desert/bakery side according to multie staff members. A few Gluten Free options.Food was good, but put together a little messy/haphazard. Had to send back one order due to being wrong, but they corrected it.

Happened upon Doug’s while visiting Rome with my tennis team for the annual USTA state tournament. We loved it so much that we returned a couple more times on our trip. Everything from the baked goods to salads/sandwiches was stellar! Don’t miss this stop on your tour of Rome, Ga!

Great place :) we enjoyed the Harvest and Nut Salad as well as the Caesar salad, and a wrap… after we got a couple cookies that were delicious. I’d def recommend this place :)

Visiting Berry College recently and was recommended to eat at Doug's Deli. After ordering, it took about 20 minutes to get our food. Strange considering there were like 15 workers with no orders in front of us. My Club Sandwich was really a Turkey Melt with no bacon. All of our sandwiches were toasted but we didn't ask for them to be. We tried the cakes but one was so poor we threw it away after a small bite...hardened sugar topping brought on this review. Then the Dr. Pepper was out of caramel, a worker said "we'll get it later." So I had to change drinks. Strange experience considering all the nice reviews and that it came recommended. $55 tab for 2 adults and 2 kids. We'll try it again next year, if they're still in business after the coming recession.

People in line recommended the turkey sandwich. They were right, very good. Very casual and fun. It was busy so it is good that they have tables inside and out.

Great place to eat. Wife's wrap was good, granddaughter always gets the veggie panini that she loves and I had the Greek salad that was very fresh!

I really love this deli, easily the best deli in town. They have an excellent pimento cheese sandwich, Buffalo chicken wrap. My favorite cookie by far is the snicker doodle cookie, and a worker got me to try Julie’s favorite cookie and it’s delicious . They even have great soups. I want to give this place 5 stars so bad but When I come I usually order the notorious P.I.G. With no Mayo it’s always a winner, but lately I’ve been receiving poor service. The food is excellent but no sometimes I wait an unusually long time for my order and they’ve forgotten my fruit cup as a side not once but the last 3 times I’ve been. I’ve started to check my order because I know it’s not going to be put in my bag. Also the seating is dismal. The place is so popular that during rush times there is simply not even seating. I don’t fault them for that. It’s definitely a place to come eat.

So much to choose from, hard to decide what to eat! Great vegetarian options! Tons of desert options also. Inside and outside seating available. Fur babies can enjoy outdoors with you!

Love, love, love the cookies here. Don't get me wrong, the sandwiches are excellent and make the this place worth the visit, but I specifically went today for a cookie. They are the best (that I have found) in town.

What I love was the guy in the drive through took his time with me, I was unfamiliar with the menu and he was not in a rush and answered all my questions and showed me pics and went inside and asked what I needed to know. Quality food with quality service that's rare these days!!
