Wow. No words. Super cool and fun place. Candy galore, soft serve, and hand scooped ice cream. Cool kinda 80's vibe, and I would know... I lived it. Lol. The Blackberry Cobbler Ice Cream was so good that the 2 scoops pictured... is my second helping. It's absolutely phenomenal. I must stop... sooo glad I did. Cheers.
City Creamery is so cute and nostalgic, plus they have lots and lots of menu options for frozen treats and specialty drinks. There are also tons of old fashioned classic candies there and a wide selection of novelty sodas...even a record bin full of vinyl you can purchase. I'm pretty sure I also saw record players for sell there....fun place!!Additionally, the building was formerly occupied by the historic Rivoli Theatre, which was Rome's oldest picture house, owned and operated by my great-grandfather, OC Lam, Sr since 1916. City Creamery has several items of memorabilia from the theater on display, which adds a nice touch.I don't know why I didn't take photos of our treats, but they were very tasty! I had frozen yogurt with toppings. My daughter had hand scooped ice cream, and my husband had a root beer float. All were high quality and delicious! The employees were helpful and kind, and the shop was spotless.
We always love taking the kids to City Creamery or even sneaking away by ourselves. It is the only place we continuously choose to go to for a sweet treat. The environment is so fun and takes you back in time. The kids have the best time choosing their ice cream and toppings. They also have the best banana split I've had in many years.
My GREAT-nephews and I enjoy coming to the City Creamery! The numerous selections of delicious ice cream and frozen yogurt and the huge supply of nostalgic candies and fresh chocolates are immensely enjoyed by our family!Also, the manager of the shop always extends a warm and pleasant welcome.Thank you, City Creamery. ?
Absolutely amazing!If you’re visiting Rome, go here! An unbelievable amount of sweet treats, candy, ice cream, soda and more! My five year old was in heaven.
Place was awesome. My little girl loved it. Tons of varieties of ice cream. Atmosphere was great. I personally loved the Pinball Machine. We'll definitely visit again if we're in Rome.
Love City creamery ‼️They have great ice cream and an awesome set up! The workers are nice and patient considering some of us come with a handful of kids and picking flavors for everyone ain't so easy! But they remember what you said and get it done!!! 5 stars!
More THAN ice cream!! Cute, quaint and the proper amount of carnival vibe. Coffee, malts, old school candy, FRFR arcade games + vinyl records. Oh yeah, and a super friendly staff. When in Rome… ?
Just the cutest ice cream shop I have probably ever been to, due to their attached "vintage candy retail store".Good ice cream choices, yogurt and slushie choices. Very Expensive. 2 hot fudge sundaes and orange soda float was over $30. Otherwise, great customer service
This is a unique, eccentric ice cream spot. The shakes are magical. The decor is colorful and...well, charming. Love it!
