Church's Chicken on Shorter Ave. , Rome , Georgia has some really good chicken ! It's fried just right not too greasy with a perfect " crunch" to it . The employees behind the counter are fast to fill your order along with being friendly and attentive to their surroundings. It's a great place to pick up that fried chicken you've been craving!
Is my first time buying from this location and my last, customer service was great, first they did not have to sides only mash potatoes and coleslaw, when we got home this mash potatoes taste absolutely nothing, it was so watery, no taste at all
Service was horrible there was no bottoms to our biscuits looked like there where thrown in the box y’all need to learn how to make biscuits properly I will not be eating here no more
Again had to drive back for my family meal missing chicken. And at todays gas prices out. Approx. 5 bucks and that is after finding out they were out of french fries and corn. Looks like we are in Russia.
It's not all that but at the same time it isn't too bad. I miss the country fried steak. It was the best in all of Rome, Georgia. They have other things but it don't make up for the steak

So we drive from Adairsville to Rome to pick up Churches. Our order was EXACTLY : TWO ten piece legs & thighs, TWO family mashed potatoes & Gravy, ONE family coleslaw, and ONE Okra. We get homee & NOT only fo we NOT have , the container of Okra but the coleslaw is LITERALLY half a container! I admittedly try to call & get a message the number posted here on Google, in THEIR receipt and on their Facebook page ( all the same) is as others mentioned disconnected!So i call the customer service number, Unfortunately that lady received the brunt of my aggravation. Supposedly the District Manager is supposed to call me, however it is a Holiday weekend.However Lonnie Reed, you who they show as the owner OBVIOUSLY have NO idea how to run a resturant or how to pay your bills evidently.
