Don't do it, small serving, bland, cake slices thin, and slow service. You better off with TV dinner
It was our first time here. It wasn't a very inviting nor friendly environment. In fact, we weren't properly greeted, but were told that if we wanted to place an order we had to.go to the counter. This conversation occurred because we sat at a table. Unfortunately, we did not care for the food much. The fish was over fried and the mac n cheese was sub-par. In fact, the mac n cheese didn't stick together at all. My husband did enjoy his smothered porkchop.
If you want southern comfort/soul food that will bring a tear to your eye because it tastes so beautiful, this is your joint. Their fried chicken and fish & shrimp are to die for.The sides are amazing too. Awesome soul lifting stuff.Ms. Movale understands the art of the fry.
The oxalis collard greens and macaroni was very good the macaroni was kind of spicy to much black pepper other than that it was awesome i will be coming back .
Ordered the Salisbury steak, Mac and cheese, collard greens with a side of dressing. Everything was really really good. Could have used a tad more seasoning in the macaroni but good nonetheless. I'll be back soon for sure!!!

I just started supporting this restaurant and I've found their customer service to be substandard to others. I called to place my order a few weeks back and was told it was too early and to call back. This was on a Sunday and before noon--so I went elsewhere. The lady that answered the phone sounded annoyed as if I knew that. However, I called again a few weeks later on a Sunday but this time after 12 and was told that they no longer took orders over the phone on Sunday. How dumb is that?? Sunday is the busiest day but they don't take phone orders. I went in to order and the food was subpar. The chicken was extra small and too salty. Needless to say it wasn't worth the wait and I doubt if I will return. There are too many other soul food restaurants that run circles around Movale's food and service that deserves my business over them.

The food was alright to say that it was my first time eating there, I had ordered the fried chicken dinner (white meat) with two side orders: Collard greens and Mac n Cheese, and corn bread, but the chicken itself was a tad stiff.So the next time I go back to eat at Ms Movale's Eatery Soul food, I'm gonna try their white meat baked chicken & see how that taste.
Tried her place for the 2nd time and was HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED. Over rated on the prices, quantity wasnt what was spoke on, lets not talk about no SEASONING. Dont get me wrong I try my best to support black owned businesses but its extremely hard when your false led. Customer service was dull. Being honest dont do it. Save your money!!!!!
