Very bad customer service, I felt I was a bother when I came in to order. I wanted Snapper but did not want to deal with the bones so I got the bbq Salmon, which was the worse salmon I have ever had, it was cold and very overcooked. The beans and rice had no flavor and the young man did not ask did I want another side, he just assumed I wanted cabbages, however, it was the best thing on my plate. I left a tip, just because I felt on the spot while paying, but the young guy did not even thank me, just handed my a bag with no fork or napkins, (side note), I couldn't even smell the aroma of the food, that should have been my first indication. Times are hard and as a small business owner myself, each customer should be handled with care it is like 3 other Jamaican restaurants on 85 and I wanted to give them a try after seeing the commercial. Maybe it was an off day, but I won't come back and word of mouth is powerful, so please try to do better.
My go to for home cooked food, not a fancy place. Very tasty and enough food for two!
Simply immaculate. Ordered via Grubhub and my oxtails were cooked and seasoned to perfection. Rice and peas were fluffy and plantains were ripe and delicious. I will order from here again!
Customer service at this place is the worst, the overweight lady Cashier has the Worst attitude all the time. She is terrible and rude. I hope the place goes out of business. So she can appreciate folks spending money at this establishment.She fat and miserable, what a shame to act so rude.Burn this ? place down.
Very disappointed. You would expect better food at $20.00 per SMALL plate. The oxtale was mostly bones, and the rice had about 1/2 an inch of oil!
I’m giving this restaurant a 4 because my meal is never the same. Last time I ordered the curry chicken, it was great. I didn’t get plantains but didn’t mind because I don’t eat them. There was a lot of curry sauce and the cabbage was great. Got the same meal today and the cabbage had no seasoning and was too crunchy for me. Not enough curry sauce but still good. I love their jerk chicken and curry shrimp. I want to try the curry goat but I don’t know yet. All I can ask from this spot is more consistency but I’ll keep eating there because the food is that good
I've Doordashed with them several times and they were out of stock of food items. They then cancel the order. They will try to reach you in an effort to replace the item... But still quite an inconvenience when you are hungry. Please do the necessary preparations to accommodate what you say is available on your menu because it's not a good customer experience.
Love this place. The food is great. You will not be disappointed. The prices are not bad either.
My go to place for a good meal. Jerk chicken or the brown chicken. Be craving it lile a fat kid wants cake! Please make sure to be kind and tip we need to keep them around ??
The rice is gummy. I asked if I could get double cabbage b/c I don’t like plantains and was denied, and the customer service is horrible! The lemonade is amazing though! Although I was not satisfied with my meal & felt I was overcharged paying $26 for a plate of oxtails, that DID NOT come w/ extra cabbage or plantains, & a lemonade, I did return to try to purchase an additional lemonade and was overlooked & never acknowledge. Being as though I’d just left the building, I would assume someone would acknowledge me to see, at the very least, if I had an issue. I don’t recommend this place!
