Where do I begin? This place was not on my radar to visit especially this day but we decided to try it out given that our normal spot was closed for the night. We entered and was greeted by a beautiful smile and warm energy from the hostess.When asked where would we like to sit we ended up in the corner away from the actual interactions of the people but turned out to be where everyone wanted to come over to because we had the livest energy and support for those participating in karaoke. The waitress was tough she asked us to scan the qr code to review the menu and she would comeback with our waters to start off.We received our waters and proceeded to order originally I ordered the mulland drive and wings while my cousin attempted to order from the happy hour at 8:02 (closes at 8pm) which she was denied. So we proceeded to ask what were the options for the ladies night martini special.The waitress responded “we have all flavors”! No suggestions or breakdown was included on the menu so that’s why we asked the question.After that my cousin decided to have a sprite while I waited for my drink and food. 12 mins later the food arrives and the wings were terribly burnt the presentation was horrible and yet another feeling of disappointment was created. See below the wings and you tell me if you would eat this just off the picture? The manager came over and asked what’s wrong with the food because it was there policy to “touch the table”. I explained the issue in detail about the food being severely overcooked and covered up with sauce. She proceeded to ask can she recook them and make the crunchy this was my indication to just leave but I choose to get the chicken tacos and give them a chance to make it right. As we began to mingle with other ladies and jam to the music the place was stormed by police officers who combed the place for a suspected person of interest.It was then that I knew this place will never be able to bounce back from this. I will give this place a 2 because of the host great impression and the dj sending us down to the dance floor with the old school jams. As for the other locations I’m sure they maybe worth the visit but I would seriously recommend that the business owner revamp, train, hire and restructure before this place shutdowns.
Came here for the happy hour special and let’s just say TERRIBLE . I asked for my wings to be fried extra crispy(hard) the waitress said “they come like that “ and that was a LIE. With the happy hour special you get a 4pc wing and fries for $5 . I waited 18 mins for them to remake 4 freaking wings . The GUY aka the manager came and asked was my sister and I okay and did absolutely nothing to fix the issue . Oh , and don’t get me started on the hookah service . Not once did they come refill the coals . Drinks TERRIBLE AS HELL TOO ! Don’t even waste your time coming to this hot ghetto mess . Kitchen staff , walking around with bushy big hair ! NOT ONE HAIR NET IN SIGHT .
I really enjoyed myself when I came for brunch at the bar (3/26/22). I had hookah, $30 ,with bottomless mimosa, $20 and the catfish & grits. Everything was so nice. The setting was nice and the vibe was okay, once we yelled at the DJ. The DJ was the only flaw. He didn't read the room to see if folks was even dancing. Chile, he needs to get it together. The bartender was HELLA slowbut nice. To do have to be assertive for bar service but the food and drinks made up for the semi-ok service. I'll definitely be back for a quick drink and brunch. I wouldn't reserve a table bc it doesn't give off that vibe too much for me.
Great service and food! We came early go have dinner before their RNB and Hip Hop Bingo night. The hostess was super friendly and seated us right away. Our waitress came to the table quickly and constantly checked in on us to see if we need anything. The drinks, the food, and the Hookah were all great!! Fun place for a date night, we'll definitely be back!
Let me start by saying... the highlight of our visit was our waiter "D" . From the beginning, he was very accommodating to our party of 4. Never had to ask him twice for a request and definitely easy on the eyes. The bottomless mimosas were warm. And although we all 4 purchased the bottomless we were only offered 2 flavors to chose from. I ordered the lamp chops and enjoyed the meal. My friends ordered the chicken and waffles and steak and they both enjoyed theirs as well. The restaurant called me about an hour prior to my arrival to ensure all parties would be there and to reiterate the time of the reservation. I appreciated that. Parking is limited. Good food, good service and strong drinks. Will be back.
I love coming here I feel like I’m apart of the family. I am a hookaholic and my two favorite hookah servers are cree and geo. The drinks are awesome manny and jay make sure to be observant of their customers and they always smile make you feel welcomed. Their the best mixologist.The servers were vibrant. The food is delicious here I recommend the lamb chops and macaroni. Also management is awesome I appreciate romes hard work for keeping the lounge clean and safe. COME TO FIN AND FEATHERS
This is the best bar on the southside. Manny is the best bartender in my opinion. He always acknowledges you when you come in and makes sure you have a good time. Nick and a few other staff also are good about stepping in to help out it make's your experience great. This bar gives you that home away from home vibe most of us in our 30s look for.
My first time here! I have been to Edgewood too but this is nicer and cleaner! Great temperature on the food (lamb chops, m&c, and Broccoli) and Julia was great as a server! Black owned! Great experience ??
We had an excellent experience on a Monday night. Great vibe and ambiance for Riverdale. Food, drinks, music and customer service were great. Get the lamb chops or the salmon entree. Mac and cheese, broccoli and mashed potatoes are great sides. The jerk chicken egg rolls are an excellent appetizer (pictured). Will definitely be back to support this black owned business on the SOUFSIDE!!!!!
The omelette was freakin amazing! My server was on point!
