Finally a place to get great Island food! I've been all over the Southside in search for great island food and FINALLY I tried this spot because I saw the reviews! Before you try other spots, please try this one first! I'm tempted to order food from here and drop it off at the door of the places that had let me down! I had the curried goat, callaloo with saltfish, jerk chicken with oxtail gravy, and piping hot beef patties! Everything was fresh, tasty, and satisfying! My picky 2 year old tasted it all and ate well! A must try! God bless this woman's and her employees' hands! Sorry no pics! We were in the moment! ??
The food was amazing.....made me feel like home....I had the curry goat and my husband had the roti.....absolutely delicious....I can't wait to go back......

I am an excellent cook, so am very fussy where I buy my Jamaican food.The customer service is on point. They are friendly fast moving & professional.The food is. The most authentic ive had the pleasure to eat in a long time.Traditionally on Saturdays its known as soup days, they actually serve cowfoot soup.Proper food.

I had the jerk pork, which you can buy by the pound, and jerk wings Delicious! Pork was tender and juicy and the wings cooked just right. I recommend. A week later I came back for more. This time I got the curry goat Roti delicious.
Very good food and fast service. Do you like Caribbean foods like curry goat plantains rice and beans vegetables patties Caribbean drinks like kola champagne(non alcoholic), ginger beet(non alcoholic) Pineapple ginger in classic American drinks such a sprite and Pepsi? Then this is the place for you. Service is very fast as the food and drinks are premade and hot and ready to be dished out for takeout. There’s no place to sit down (except two waiting chairs with balloons ) and eat and I’m not sure if there’s a bathroom. They have a TV that plays shows and a TV menu. Masks are required and you can Pay with credit cards debit cards or cash.
You wouldn't think that you can get good island cooking in Union City, right? Wrong. A friend insisted I give this place a try. So glad I did. The food is great. The staff are welcoming. The prices are fair. The portions are a nice size. I'll be having lunch here once or twice a week.
