Great food, great buffet, great deserts and a great staff. If I lived here I would definitely return so I can only now recommend coming here. There is something foe everyone here so pull up a chair and enjoy a buffet that will definitely have you full and satisfied when you leave.
Wide variety of food. Buffet had shrimp, country fried steak, ribs. Salad bar included. Very good buffet for the money
We just stopped through to grab something to eat during our long 9hr drive back home and we were not disappointed. We saw the Western Sizzlin' sign and started feeling nostalgic since we hadn't seen one in YEARS! The food was fresh, the staff was super friendly, and Joy took care of us like family. If we ever get the chance, we'll be back.
When we saw the sign on the interstate, my daughter was excited because we used to have one in the area where we live years ago. We then realized that it was on the same exit that we were staying!! We went for dinner and got there almost time for closing because we didn't know they close at 5:00pm on Sundays. They were still accommodating and friendly. The food was delicious and still plentiful. I would have preferred a little more seasoning in some of the sides, but I do understand that they have to cook for all people. Those ribs were fall off the bone tasty!!
I had a wonderful meal @ this restaurant on 4/22/22 . I was very fortunate to be accompanied by a beautiful young woman. The dinner along with the company made this night one to remember. Where all the stars line up and the constellations dance to the beat of 2 hopeful hearts .. Oh yes , Western Sizzlin Steakhouse was great. I hope you enjoy it. Aliya and i did!!!!
I'm usually not big on buffets I have to say I really enjoyed this one. I recently moved to the area and have wanted to try the food and I must say I'll be back. I started with the fried shrimp and the whole catfish delicious! The macaroni not bad as well as the fried chicken was delicious! The place was clean and although it was late in the dinner hour when we arrived they replenished a few items except the cobblers we're done and no new replacements. I did scrape a bit of the blackberry and apple to taste and it was also delightful. I hope my next visit it won't be at the bottom of the pan.
My mom and I always stop off here the eat on our way back home to North Carolina from Florida, visiting family.I always get the buffet (yummy) and normally mom gets the grilled chicken breast, salad bar and dessert for a reasonable price.Our last visit was March 2022; week agoThey no long service from the kitchen, it is all buffet self-service now.
Used to be cafeteria-style dining (grab a tray, order your steak, get a salad bowl and a drink tumbler, pay, and go find a table.Now more of a food-bar experience (though there is still a limited steak menu), and the various hot/cold bars are well stocked with good variety of items. Dessert and bakery items includes in meal price.Decent value, "servers" were on top of things (drink refills, table bussing) during my most recent visit.
They have stepped up their game here. Three hot bars, a salad bar, dessert bar, and a bakery.
I got the chance to try Western Sizzlin’s breakfast buffet while in town with a group of friends and family. The food was delicious and well made. There was a large variety of breakfast items so everyone found something they wanted.
