I love this place. It's a really great alternative to going to a sit-down hibachi dinner. I always get the express hibachi entrees. I've had it with shrimp, or steak or tofu and the sauces are very delicious. They are not stingy with the sauces. Great quick easy. And I also really like their dumplings. I've also gotten their soups which are great as well. And I absolutely recommend them as opposed to season of japan. For some reason why I go to season of Japan their food taste like cat food. This place tastes like fresh ingredients, freshly cooked, wonderful sauces. It is way better.
I tried Sumo for the first time today via Door Dash.. I ordered two sushi rolls and literally had to eat a few with a spoon because they were mushy and falling apart. (Saw another reviewer mention this as well) I also got a steak and shrimp lunch plate and it was just really disappointing. I had to spit multiple pieces of steak out because it was nothing but fat/gristle. And on top of that the soup was gross. How do you ruin soup? Very poor quality meal.
Great food, good portions, good prices, and consistent. They also offer soy paper for sushi which we really appreciate!
Pretty good food somewhere similar to season of Japan
Ordered hibachi chicken off door dash. My food arrived with no sauce at all. Chicken was dry. Veggies hard. I called the store, they never answered. I'm visiting here for work and will never waste my money again with them.
The chicken teriyaki was fresh and juicy with a delicious sauce and excellent portions. The Tokyo rolls were VERY good and very fresh. Delicious meal altogether and great service. ?
So first the good, the staff was friendly. The place was clean and the food was reasonably priced. My wife and I had the sushi, and it was not good. Everyone knows that the most important part of sushi is the rice, and it was mushy and bland. We downed it with some wine and use lots of sauce so it was adequate enough to satisfy our hunger.
I would not recommend this place. My daughter and I got sick the night after eating here. It has lasted 2 days and we are both still sick. Not sure what they’re doing wrong there…cross contamination, spoiled meat, leaving rice out too long? I don’t know but it’s not good!
yeah so idk if this was a bad night for them or what, we usually do sushi hana but decided to give this place a try because of their good reviews and that was a mistake. The steak yakisoba was literally like beef jerky, the hibachi chicken and shrimp was gross, the shrimp were literally burnt like actually black on one side and the chicken was coated in their super thick and chunky teriyaki sauce when it was supposed to be hibachi. Even the volcano roll was over fried. I will say my rainbow roll was nice but everything else was disgusting. We spent $75 here and literally made my husband pay an extra $1 for some shrimp sauce. Not worth a second visit when there are too many other and better places in the area. Not to mention no soup or salad included w/an entree purchase. Go somewhere else.
