Eaten at Spankys before and that’s why I keep coming back. Humongous Cobb salad and I had to bring most of it home. It was piled high. Husband got the Buffalo wrap and brought half home. He could have used more buffalo sauce as it wasn’t spicy but I guess better that than too HOT. They give you a coke to go also. I always enjoy
Fantastic service! Great food! Management was overly nice, made me feel like I was at a cheers restaurant. I had a short trip to Savannah for one day, but this place made me want to fly right back for another day. Thank you Spanky’s! I was having a rough day and you made it better! 5/24/22 Oh, and if the manager that was on duty reading this… just to let you know I got on my plane and everything worked out well.
I haven’t been to Spanky’s in over a decade, so I was super apprehensive that it wouldn’t live up to my memories. Boy am I pleasantly surprised! Fantastic experience at this location. When we used to go, we would go to the busy Savannah location. The Pooler location had less traffic and was less busy. The food was fantastic. Chicken fingers and spuds are delicious. The server was great and very nice! And man I forgot how yummy their ranch is - and they give you a good bit! We will be back soon!

My friend/fellow driver and I stopped for lunch today (5/17/22) and we were seated promptly. This place was kicking @ a few minutes before noon, lunch hour crew!Our server did fine, @ first. She took our drink orders and we browsed the menu.I settled on the Cheese Quesadilla ($10.00) and my friend decided on the BLT (Price unknown).The food portions were a reasonable size, we both couldn’t finish our food ?The reason for the four stars is I paid with a $100 bill on my $13.38 check. My change was only $86.00, what happened to my 62 cents? It would have been one thing if I was advised about any “coin shortage”, however, I wasn’t. 62 cents isn’t a big deal, I’m not destitute, I wanted what was owed. No worries, that change was towards the tip.
Loaded nachos.. AMAZING!! Seamed veggies… best I’ve ever had!! (And I love steamed veggies!).. fish and chips… fantastic! Waitress was friendly and helpful with menu .. bathrooms were clean … we were just hungry and trying to find somewhere so we pulled in here and gave it a shot.. so glad we did!!
03/28/22Great food and service!My wife and I decided to dine in at Spanky’s for lunch. My wife got the chicken fingers… something that Spanky’s is famous for to begin with. I usually get that too. However, this time, I decided to get the steak sandwich. When I tell you that thing was packed with flavor, the words I’m using couldn’t possibly fully convey how tasty it was. For me, the sweet tea is a little too sweet. But that’s a personal preference.The service was phenomenal. We got there at the beginning of the lunch rush. But we never felt as if our service was delayed as a result. Definitely recommended!!!
Came in around 1pm Sunday and it was a 20 minute wait, which isn’t bad for this time of day. The hostess was sweet and timely. We were seated and greeted with a beautiful smile from Elise. She was a wonderful server. She was very attentive and we could not have asked for better food and service . They have a good worker in her. She was a real pleasure!
On Saturday, March 12 at 5:00 pm, we had a large gathering to celebrate a co-worker. Spanky's in Pooler was able to accommodate our large, ebullient party with a minimal wait before seating. We were fortunate to have a waitress who effortlessly managed our party of 30, Josie (Joy's daughter ?). Josie was attentive, efficient and patient. Our food and drinks were served in a timely manner. Not only was Josie wonderful, so were her fellow wait staffers who assisted in serving us. To top it off, the manager checked on us frequently and she "wanted to make sure we had a good time". This was my first time at Spanky's Pooler, but I am sure it will not be the last. (Be sure to order the chicken fingers, onion rings, and mushroom bites. They also have an excellent strawberry margarita ??) We loved it!
If I could give this place more stars I would. Great staff, great food, amazing atmosphere.Every single part of my meal was served speedily and cooked to perfection. Delicious cup of gumbo, large side salads, grilled shrimp and steak were amazing and the stuffy skins potato was out of this world.Won’t miss this place ever again coming through Pooler.
