The food ain't bad but it's the children that ain't being watched and allowed to be at the food bar by themselves, I SAW A 4/5 YEAR OLD BOY LICK THE SERVING SPOON AT MAC N CHEESE TRAY! Little children should not be allowed to make their own plates, the glass face plate coverings down cover their coughs and sneezes. I'm so disgusted right now.
So, this is not a "New" or "Super" buffet. However, it indeed is a buffet. The food is less than mediocre. The sushi almost tasted stale even though I saw them rolling out new rolls. Food quality is just way off. The restaurant is dated and needs some cleaning and items replaced. With that, the food is edible. Wide selection of food options at a reasonable price.
My wife and I love Chinese food, and we eat at China Buffets frequently. We were very disappointed in this experience. The food was not great, however I didn’t get to try that much because they weren’t bringing anymore food out. The buffet was pretty much empty, just scraps of what was left behind. We waited for an hour and no new food came out. . . This was a Friday night. You’d think they’d have something to eat. I made several trips to the buffet, but I only got a couple of chicken legs or an ice cream cone cause their wasn’t anything else to put on my plate. The food we did eat was mediocre. My wife just ate some bread with butter on it. Our table was way in the back of the restaurant, and the layout was inefficient to get to the buffet and back to our table, a lot of bumping into other people. We left the waitress a tip cause it’s not her fault, but $30 for 2 of us was way too much to pay and leave hungry.
Easily the nicest Chinese buffet I have ever been to. Clean and attractive interior with a wide variety at the buffet, including fresh cold shrimp and baby octopus. They also have a Mongolian BBQ area where you can select your raw meats and vegetables and have them sautéed for you. The selections were all delicious. Will you pay a little more than most Chinese buffets? Sure, but its worth it.
So, this is a long waited review. New Supper Buffet had become one I favorite restaurants to go to whenever I was in Pooler. The food was usually very tasty. I decided to go with my two sons on the night of Christmas Eve, because I felt that it would be the perfect place for us to enjoy a night out together. The food was very good, and we enjoyed the night. It wasn't until our server politely brought us refills for our sweet tea. I didn't notice until a minute or two later as I grabbed my glass to take a sip. A bent up, chewed up straw popped up out of my drink. It was not my straw. I really wonder how that straw ended up in my cup. The only conclusion I can come up with is that it must have come from a previous customers cup. I will not spell it out anymore than that, but I will leave it up to you to make up your mind as to how this could have happened. I can say I have not been back since, because I feel like if they could brazenly pour back someone else's unfinished tea and serve it to an unforseen customer, there's no end to what else may be going on with the food. Hope this helps.
I was so excited to go. We went earlier and it was packed, as always. We decided to go back after going to Sam's. Their food is always hot, I mean very, very, good. Today I was disappointed! I usually get there shrimp with the white sauce on it, very delicious dish. It was dried out and look like it was sitting there for hours. I ate some rice, a couple of pieces of fish, (which was nice and hot in the inside) I ate three different things off my plate. Sorry, it wasn't tasty. My friend, she complained as well. I don't know what it is. I'm not going to give up on this restaurant, because they're delicious. I must be honest, We were so disappointed.?
We love the variety the buffet has. Excellent sushi. Spicy choices, beef, chicken and seafood choices. You won't leave hungry, unless you're doing take out, and have to wait to get home! Great staff too.
Wasn’t the best or greatest of food
It was ok, oranges weren't really sweet. The crab salad didn't really have any taste, the stuffed crab however was pretty good along with the puff pastry dessert. The macaroni was a big disappointment, the fried scallops were over cooked and hard to chew. Sesame chicken was good but cold.
I’m glad I didn’t read those “bad reviews” before getting into the restaurant. I had a 12$ take out, a full big box of tasty food, including steak strew, salmon, shrimps, ribs, yummy chicken, even octopus salad….where in The States you would find such a unreal deal?!Honestly I don’t understand those people only want to pay 13$ for a huge meal, also complain about the size of the shrimps.BTW: after my lunch, I got another box for my husband who stayed home for work. He loved it too!
